Is it just me, or does this song bear more than a superficial sembelence to Judas Priest's Heart of a Lion?

"Nite"

Should it be said that the spelling of "night" as "nite" in the song's title is a reference to KISS? The (rather famous) song is called Rock and Roll All Nite, and Kiss's music is the same style as Limozeen, so I think that something should be added here, but I don't know (same deal with Nite Mamas). "Nite" is a pretty common (intentional) misspelling of "night", and is probably not a reference to any one thing. --DorianGray

Breakin' ___ chains

Ok, I definitely hear "my", pronounced more like "meh" as a metalhead might, there. Listen to the "the" in the previous line, then this one. The "th" doesn't happen!

Because, It's Canon

Should this be moved to Because, It's Midnite (with a comma), which redirects here? It's spelled that way in Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s and Limozeen vs. Sloshy. I'll admit that song titles aren't always listed correctly in Guitar Hero (they called Nothin' But a Good Time "Ain't Nothin' But a Good Time"), but now that it's appeared in an actual cartoon, it seems intentional. That would be the work of the CD ripper program though, which likely downloaded the song titles from a CDDB server somewhere in the Internets. Unfortunately, I don't have the CD box on me, so I can't check how it was punctuated in the liner... --phlip ^T_C 12:25, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Does Limozeen actually sing " Bring in The Cheat, you better cut me some"? I was just wondering. :)

No. Even if I thought it sounded like "Bring in The Cheat" (I don't), the mock karaoke video gives it as "Breaking the chains". --Jay (Talk) 09:24, 30 July 2011 (UTC)

Champagne and Legos

I just went to the Lego Movie 2, and the first song during the end credits (by Beck plus somebody) includes the lines "We gotta bring both sides together / like champagne and leather." I thought hmmm, is that a conscious reference? A quick Google of "champagne and leather" yields pretty much just champagne-colored leather swatches. —AbdiViklas 01:13, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
