Apostrophe

Isn't the apostrophe in the "O's" incorrect? --Droffats 22:09, 27 Mar 2005 (MST)

  • Yes, I think so, but that's how it is in the Toons menu... Aurora Szalinski 23:00, 27 Mar 2005 (MST)
    • Depending on your point of view, no - the plural forms of single letters have apostrophes (unlike most words). A's, B's, C's, etc. Yeah, it's a silly rule, but I don't make them up. --Jay 09:07, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)
      • "There is no need for apostrophes indicating a plural on capitalized letters, numbers, and symbols"- (Online Writing Workshop, Purdue University) Cerebellumd

Dull Pic

This might be just me, but regarding the picture that's on this page, it's kind of dull. Would it be out of line to suggest maybe replacing the box logo with one of the "complete delicious breakfast," with the box, bowl, etc...?--Spanky The Dolphin

Okay, nevermind. I went ahead, signed up, and added it myself.--Spanky The Dolphin

Much gooder image. Good Jorb. - Dr Haggis - Talk 06:22, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The Jet

The Jet in the commercial may not reference Starscream of the Decepticons (Transformers), it also looks like GI Joe's version of the F-14 called "The Skystriker"--Slackerboy 15:41, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Grandma's Tupperware

Not sure if this has been brought up, but the dishware appeares to be an older Tupperware brand or something comparable. My grandma owns a set with that same design. --67.65.62.59 03:44, 20 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, the bowl and the mug, we have those. My mom says that it's a pretty common brand a lot of people buy. Alex H.

It's corelle ware, the "Butterfly Gold" pattern check it

Closed STUFF

It's just a grill...

The grill shown briefly near the end of the cartoon is possibly a reference to The King of Town's Grill, which is where The Cheat lives.

Nobody Ever Dies

I do note that it's true that nobody ever actually died in cartoons like G.I. Joe, and that it's worthy of parody, but what does that have to do with the two minions who randomly drop into the background? BoobusToober 23:01, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

Coz they didn't get blown up. They parachuted to safety. --DorianGray

The cereal

Are you sure that they're either Cap'n Crunch or Corn Flakes? Cuz the texture of the cereal doesn't look like it. The "cereal" looks more like yellow packing peanuts. 68.147.223.143 15:46, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

They're corn pops, and yes. — Defender1031*Talk 15:56, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Plates and Such

I think bowl and the cup with the marshmallows might be corelle ware, based on the shape of the cup.

Anyone else?--Flytape8490 19:54, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Woot! I was right! The plate pattern is from Corelle Ware. It's a discontinued pattern called Butterfly Gold.--Flytape8490 20:08, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Chocolate Cake... for breakfast?

I think the chocolate cake in the "ridiculous breakfast" may be a Bill Cosby reference, specifically the chocolate cake routine from Bill Cosby: Himself. Given the number of Cosby-related references, I'd be surprised if TBC didn't put the cake in because of that bit. In fact, "ridiculous breakfast" could also be a reference itself, as that was Bill's response to his four-year-old wanting chocolate cake for breakfast - "How ridiculous!" kyojikasshu 20:27, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

I agree with this.

Another goof: eye patch

Blue Laser's eye patch shifts from his right eye when he's facing left, to his left eye when he's facing right.

Yep, that's a common (and presumably intentional) phenomenon with Blue Laser Commander. It's generally not noted on each CCdo toon, but is the focus of Flipped Images and is mention on Blue Laser Commander's page as well. --TimMierz 19:57, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Ser-ge-geant Marshie

In the YouTube version, Marshie seems to talk faster than I remember. Wolf O'Donnel 00:33, 18 November 2020 (UTC)
