Apart from this article being poorly worded, I don't recall a company called "Compy, Inc" ever being mentioned explicitly in any toon. Yes, we can assume that some company made the Compy 386, and the name of that company might easily be Compy, Inc, but we can't make articles based on assumptions. Furthermore, even if we did establish that this company exists in the H*R universe, unless we had some information about the company that couldn't be concisely summarized on the Compy 386 page, there's no reason for this page to exist. In other words, I'm looking for a reason not to delete this. Anybody? — InterruptorJones[[]] 07:59, 31 Jan 2005 (MST)

"The Lappy 486 by Compy." While the "Inc" wasn't mentioned, Compy as a company has been. -- Cyrius 08:07, 31 Jan 2005 (MST)
Can you give a referrence? -- tomstiff 15:11, 11 Mar 2005 (CST)
Just happened to look at the history of this page. Cyrius placed the e-mail referrence in the comment summary. Compy is mentioned as a company in animal. -- tomstiff 16:06, 11 Mar 2005 (CST)
I also put 'animal' in that convenient link that I wrapped around the quote. -- Cyrius 08:44, 12 Mar 2005 (MST)
Sheesh ... Not sure how I managed to miss that! My bad. tomstiff 21:41, 12 Mar 2005 (CST)

Can't say I agree with the statement that "Compy" is a play on "Commodore". I've always taken it as a play on "Compaq". -- tomstiff 15:13, 11 Mar 2005 (CST)

Look at Population: Tire, the loading screen says Compydore 64. Venusy, too tired to put time and date tags
Well ... I stand corrected. Thanks! -- tomstiff 16:44, 11 Mar 2005 (CST)
I'm sure that Compy is a play on Compaq, especially considering that there was a computer called the Compaq 386. --Upsilon 10:42, 30 Mar 2005 (MST)

Compy is a company mentioned explicitly by a character in the H*R Universe. This stub allows the company to be correctly placed in the Companies category. I think that justifies its existence. -- tomstiff 21:48, 12 Mar 2005 (CST)
