nightlife
Hard to make a call on this one. The Easter egg is definitely just crickets chirping because it's night, but the earlier scene, it's night, but the "exciting" scene is also a rather uneventful one, so crickets could be chirping for either reason. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 04:42, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Needs Descriptions
This page needs descriptions of what the noise appears in response to for each toon. — Defender1031*Talk 16:25, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- I agree. I will do this as soon as I have access to my computer. I'm on my iPod right now. Thy Not Dennis (t/c) 18:35, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

others?
Is are other cricket noises that could be mentioned besides the "joke fell flat" gag? Maybe in a minor section? I'm thinking right now of the impression Coach Z does in one toon.
- That one toon would be Happy Hallow-Day, and I agree. --Thy Not Dennis (t/c) 21:32, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
White Noise
The Chaps have been using white noise a lot recently as a replacement for cricket noises. Should this be noted on this page? Or perhaps somewhere else?
- The Next April Fools Thing — White noise plays when Strong Bad stays silent in the hope that Homestar Runner won't tell him what ABD's means.
- Mr. Poofers Must Die — After Homestar tells his story, white noise plays as he expects a reaction.
- Quickstart Overview — White noise plays during the silence after Strong Mad and The Cheat embrace.
There could be other examples too. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 04:01, 25 October 2019 (UTC)
