:I agree with you on the first fact. In that Battle of the Crappy Bands maybe they were trying a new style, but since they failed, they can't be considered "death metal". If anything, it should be noted in the Brainkrieg page. About the second fact - I don't know enough about riffs to judge. I'll leave it to someone else. {{User:Elcool/sig}} 10:00, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

That the very beginning sounds alot like the intro the the theme of the movie series, Halloween?

So, did anyone notice the intro to the song kinda sounded like Sweet Cuppin' Cakes? Not quite accurate enough to be a clone, but the "melody" is definitely a sort of homage.

Is this the first purposeful reference to Christmas on Homestar Runner? Or did the Bros. Chaps just forget to say "Decemberween lights" or something?

It's not the first, and Brainkrieg themselves have referred to "Christmas lights" in Hooked on Decemberween. In fact, I don't think they've ever been referred to as "Decemberween lights" in the H*Rverse. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 18:27, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Zelda Reference

The granola bar, when they showed it with the face, kind of looked like the Moon from Majora's Mask. Could it be considered a reference? C-Son-L Sweaters 00:07, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

I would say no. I don't think it's referencing anything, it's simply a silly cartoon face. FugitiveofPhysics 02:17, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay but just to be sure, you do know the moon i'm talking about right? If you do or don't it doesn't matter, but I just thought it looked like the moon. I've got a picture of it in case you don't know what it looks like. It actually may not have been done on poipose it just resembled the moon. I guess now that i've seen it again, the face wasn't what made me think of it at first it was the texture of the granola bar it resembled the texture of the moon they both have crater looking things on them and also the open mouth kind of looked like it to me. I guess it's not a reference. C-Son-L Sweaters 22:54, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
I'm a huge Legend of Zelda fan. It really doesn't look that much like the moon to me. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 22:57, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I know which moon it is. Majora's Mask is awesome!

Old conversation, but it reminds me of the Necronomicon Ex-Mortis myself. Thought I'd bring it up for discussion rather than just put it on the page. --DorianGray 05:49, 30 May 2010 (UTC)

haha

"Or did the Bros. Chaps just forget to say "Decemberween lights" or something?"

Haha yeah, AND they spelt "decomposing punkins" wrong!! What's up with them?

Ahem. This is a wiki. These comments serve no purpose here. FugitiveofPhysics 21:28, 20 October

The Singer...

Is it REALLY the Brothers Chaps singing for Brainkreig? Espemon333 22:29, 21 October 2009 (UTC)

moving

When "jugga jigga wug jigga jigga wug jigga wugga jug" appears in a vertical row, on "wugga", the row moves slightly to the right. --FangoriouslyFotoshopStar.png 03:42, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

TGS

Could someone add the TGS template to the bottom of the page? And edit the TGS template to include this toon? Or does it not count? Strong Vader 03:51, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Template add'ed. ...desd. And I'd say it most definitely counts, given that it appears on the TGS menu and everything. --DorianGray 03:54, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Schwarzkopf?

Is it just me, or does the carved head on the non-decomposed pumpkin look a little bit like the Schwarzkopf logo?Dolly Q 08:32, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

Umm... it's abe lincoln. — Defender1031*Talk 18:29, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

death metal and Weezer

Let's discuss these fun facts.

  1. In Brainkrieg's first appearance, death metal, they are presented as a death metal band while in this toon they are more hard rock/punk.
  • Brainkrieg were never portrayed as a death metal band, because Strong Bad clearly said they did not qualify in death metal
  • Brainkrieg have always sounded like this.

2. The intro notes of the song are reminiscent of Weezer's "Undone - (The Sweater Song)".

  • They really don't sound similar at all
  • A lot of songs have riffs that are this similar to one another and there was no intentional homage.

Does anyone have any good reasons why these two facts should be kept?--76.22.99.222 21:29, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
