If you use a [[Flash]] decompiler to remove his glasses, Gunhaver has different eyes than the rest of the commandos. His eyes are simply black ovals, like a less detailed version of [[The Cheat]]'s eyes.

I decided to Be Bold and removed the claim about Gunhaver(/Crack Stuntman) sounding like Peter Cullen. To my ear there is barely a resemblance, with Cullen (that is, Optimus Prime) typically speaking with deeper gravitas than Gunhaver's more loose and brash tone. To me it just sounds like Matt is doing a "funny action-hero" voice, not a specific spoof (though I admit I didn't grow up watching the same 80s toons as TBC). There have been several suggestions on this talk page over the years with none nearing any sort of consensus. Many Cheat Commandos toons have commentaries and I don't see any where specific inspirations for Gunhaver's voice are mentioned. Unlike his physical resemblance to GI Joe characters, "voice sounds kind of like" is more subjective so I don't think the article should say a specific voice without a more obvious or concrete inspiration. --{{User:Bleu Ninja/sig}} 00:38, 9 March 2022 (UTC)

Ding! Gunhaver is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

[edit] Correction??

I was looking at the wiki page on the Gunhaver and I think there is a little wrong info concerning the Cheat Commando leader:

"Gunhaver is a direct parody of Duke from GI Joe, complete with a John Payne voice."

I think this is wrong because in some of the Commentaries TBC mentioned they based it on the old 80's Joe cartoons not the newer ones.
