Release Date Guesses
If anyone can come up with a general calculation or guess for the release date of anything, post it here! Plus, some release dates can probably bleed off to other guesses, such as The Luau. If anyone can find that, then we can not only get an approxamite release date for the Luau Main Page, but also for everything linked to it, such as Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 3.0, the mashmallow commercial, ect. The one thing I can't figure out though, is that the date in the toons menu says the toon was released in 2001, and yet the copyright on the Main Page says 2000. Wow. - Matt Chapman's first spoken line in the transcript of Screen Savers Interview might have something to do with it. Also, and this is just a guess, but I'm thinking they weren't that regular with the updates or really that popular back then, so we can't find the dates anywhere.. -- Tom 23:26, 1 Mar 2005 (MST)

Found the release date for Sucky Treats here. Found the release date for Mother's Day here. Doesn't seem to have the SB emails in the archive. -- tomstiff
DVD Versions/Beginning Updates
Does anybody have a basic idea of when the King of Town and Yellow Dellow toons first came out, and then when they were re-released... 'on DVD'? I'm hoping we can use 2001 and 2000 to just make a basic sequence of releases, not with exact dates or anything. So any ideas, and do I have the approval to try and extend 2001 and maybe even 2000? They first came out sometime in 2000, and the DVD versions came out in 2001. [[1]] In here it says they were planning on making DVD versions of those toons, and this interview was from early 2001. --24.46.149.254 22:19, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)DaChazman
Strong Bad Emails
Here is the formula I used to decide the dates of the Strong Bad Emails:
Based on the Febuary 22nd, 2005 email 'rock opera', it said he had been composing it over the past 3 and a half years. I then went back 3 and a half years, which took me to August 22nd, 2001. I used that as a general first email. Then I simply spaced them apporoxamently until #7, the halloween one. It's not perfect, but it's a start. - Yea, I was the one that put the 'Unknowns' there. Let's be honest. The best we'll ever be able to get for 2001-2000 release dates are approxamations, guesses. We may as well put them on the main page of the updates, instead of the Talk page. And I did denote that they aren't accurate using the B. C. A. Format. Duke33 removed them for some reason (Check the History on the page). Either way, they can always be put back. Any other comments from anyone on this? - Well in my defense I did know that they weren't accurate, but they're at least moderately close. At the very least, they were started SOMETIME in 2001, since Strong Bad has meantioned that before, in one of his e-mail opening songs (I can't remember which one, but he said: "Checking emails with a VISCOSITY, since 2001, it's a Strong Bad Email"). Also, since he specified three and a half years, instead of four, in rock opera , it stands to reason that the first one was at least sometime past April or May. So at worst, they're likely only a few months off. But maybe you're right, I guess they are probably too big of a guess for the main updates page. Oh well. All those calculations for nothing... Heh. Needed Approxamite Release Dates

- Main Page #7 came out in '00. Note how the old Main Page 6 has #7 in its list of Main Pages, and that the copyright date is 2000.
