Some Video Game Speculation

I sell video games for a living, working at a toy store, and if have my speculations about which game is referenced:
Night Vision Mode 4 - The goggles and night vision reminds me of the iconic Splinter Cell headgear.
Lord of Armor - The name and box art is similar to The Battle for Middle-earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king.
Tank Driverer - Could be tactical or strategy game with that name. I can't seem to think of a game where a tank is shown in that angle.
Sword Thong Gold Edition - Although there is now a fun fact that this game is a reference to Soul Caliber, I strong think that, unlike the others, this is a direct reference to Heavenly Sword. The name is practically the same, the box art is very similar with the same pose of pointing the sword forward and the long hair of the main character. And she also is wearing a thong throughout the game. If anything at all, I think this is the only fun-fact worthy one, since the others are somewhat generalizations. As for tank driverer, it could be that old game called Bolo. But it doesn't seem to have any art at all. ColdReactive
I really think that trying to pin the games to any one thing as opposed to the general genre that it's in is pointless speculation. — Defender1031*Talk 17:56, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
I dunno, the night vision goggles -> splinter cell and sword thong -> heavenly sword seem pretty direct to me. -132.183.138.37 17:59, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

"New Stuff" Glitch

If you go to the bottom of the "new stuff" bar, this toon is found at the bottom of the list too. Whatever2965 14:06, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

BRAINKRIEG

Brainkrieg sounds more like a hardcore punk outfit than death metal in my opinion. Any thoughts?

The band was introduced in death metal...'nuff said. DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 15:54, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
I concur. The subject matter of death metal music is typically horror-inspired violence and the occult, whereas this song seems to be more social in content. Not only that, but their playing style seems more like punk or grunge rather than death metal.

Internet Channel

--ONESTOP 16:32, 15 December 2008 (UTC)This toon and several before it get screwed up on the Wii's Internet Channel. Why? (I is usin the Internet Ch. so that's why my sig came 1st.)

As we've discussed on the Wiki a zillion times, it's because the Wii's Flash player isn't up to date. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 16:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
And you can't update it either, so don't bother trying.--Flytape8490 17:00, 15 December 2008 (UTC)

trivia

It seems kind-of pointless to point out that homestar on the cover sings along to "Homestar Presents Presents" in the trivia, when it states it in the transcript.
