Removed Line
I just removed the line
- His "wife" Beverly wrote the book "Eww..Claire!! Why???": origins (in Easter Egg)
from the page. We have no idea how or if Beverly is releated to Lem. She could be his mother or sister or aunt or wife or dog or snake or cat or... -- Tom 22:36, 31 Jan 2005 (MST)
- Frankly, I'd reccomend...
- Likewise, a Beverly Sportsinterviews wrote the book Eww..Claire!! Why??? The relation outside of last name is not known at this time.
- Because, well, there's OBVIOUSLY a connection with the last name, we just don't know what it is. Yet. --Shadow Hog 20:53, 1 Feb 2005 (MST)
The picture on the book (this book is better than...) is OBVIOUSLY Mike Chapman.
Maybe?
I think that Beverly is Lem's wife? Or his sister? I dunno.
- Maybe, but unless we know for sure... --Jay (Gobble) 08:21, 7 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- They're probably related. (How many people have a last name "Sportsinterviews?") — talk Bubsty edits 00:58, 17 November 2005 (UTC)
- My gut says wife, like Daniel and Jill Pinkwater. —AbdiViklas 01:40, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Unseen
I notice that Lem Sportsinterviews is included in the "Unseen Characters" section, but we do get to see him in the easter egg in studying, so does it really make sense to keep him in "Unseen"? Comments? --Der Pepper
- I've always assumed that it was him on the cover... Is this jumping to conclusions? — It's dot com 20:07, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- I think it's re-son-able to assume that that's Lem. Should we take him off the Unseen Characters then? -- mibluvr13dÃgame 20:10, 22 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Lem?
Is the short hand version of his name, Lem, a reference to LEMKE?
No way, Annony. --— That is Truly an Apple/blog 17:45, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
Maybe, maybe not. --Sam Goldfish 18:12, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Sportsinterviews
Why is is last name sportsinterviews?
- Well, I'd guess because that's what his parents' last name was. --DorianGray
- I bet it has something to do with LEMKE. --Sam Goldfish 21:23, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
Book
I think the book Lem is holding on the cover of "This Book is Better Than 1st, 2nd, and Quite Possibly Even 3rd Base" is the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series-in-one book, with the cover removed. I own it, and it looks exactly like that. Of course, there is too little detail to know for sure. --Quite 23:08, 4 Apr 2006
Merged
The following conversation is copied from Talk:Crazy Prof. Sportsinterviews and documents the brief discussion that preceded the merging of the Sportsinterviews characters. Please don't edit it. If you have comments, add them after the table. Loafing 07:31, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Crazy Prof was previously thought to be Lem Sportsinterviews, but there is no indication that this is true. Crazy Prof could just as well be Beverly Sportsinterviews. Or someone completely different. Until we know who he/she is, we should assume that Crazy Prof is a different character. Loafing 01:09, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Beverly Cleary parody?
It seems pretty obvious to me that Beverly Sportsinterviews is supposed to be a parody of children's author Beverly Cleary. Does anybody mind if I added this info to the article?
Sentroyd 03:08, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
OK, after I wrote this, I saw the reference listed in origins, but it really should be mentioned here too.

- What? It's not alreadt there? By all means, be blod and add it! — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 03:37, 27 September 2006 (UTC) EDIT: blod --> bold — User:ACupOfCoffee@03:39, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Lem vs. Leomard
Should we move this back to Lem Sportsinterviews, seeing that he was only called Leomard two times? --Trogga 23:40, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see why we should move it. It is his full name. Loafing 23:48, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, but it is rarely used in the cartoons. Wikipedia doesn't list George W. Bush as George Walker Bush or Bill Clinton as William Clinton. --Trogga 00:25, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Anyone else? --Trogga 02:30, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. The most common name is where the article should be. — It's dot com 14:20, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Lynyrd Skynyrd reference, maybe?
When first hearing this guys name I immediately thought Lynyrd Skynyrd. Anyone else think this might be a reference? -- Super Martyo boing! 00:05, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- I highly doubt it. Far too dissimilar, plus did you know Lynyrd Skynyrd was named for a gym teacher? This doesn't really resemble either at all. - Qermaq - (T/C) 01:51, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
YouTube
Should something be mentioned here about how "sportsinterviewa" was the name of the YouTubeaccount that TBC used to upload Strong bad Gameways? — Acam30 04:12, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I think so. — It's dot com 04:19, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Beverly Sportsinterviews-Chimendez?
A Beverly Sportsinterviews-Chimendez was credited in Twenty THANXty Six as the writer of Stinkoman and the Challenge of the Crystal Shards. Can this mean that Beverly is in fact Lem's sister and is now married to A. Chimendez? I guess it's just speculation for now, but maybe more info will pop up at some point. — DyM 12:13, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
YouTube Information
First of all, there are two entries on Strong Bad Gameways. Second, "Coach Z pukes in dude's toupee" should be noted here. rct2guy 11:17, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
