Seperate page, same as this one, or same as the soon-to-appear event page? Thunderbird 05:57, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Not sure there's enough info for a full page (nothing to transcribe, unlike Jibblies 2 Teaser). One of the others would work, though. --DorianGray 06:12, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
It's been done before. Thunderbird 06:19, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Hrm, that is an excellent point... --DorianGray 06:20, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
I think the way it's worked out so far, is that if it's just a main page bubble it gets a note on the closest page, but if it's got it's own page on the site, it gets it own page on our site. My biggest question is the correct name for the page. :) Thunderbird 06:23, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
I'd name it Limozeen Live! Notice, or something similar. Once it has its own page, can we get a pic from the actual toon in here, too? --DorianGray 06:26, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Definitely. I was gonna get one, but I couldn't decide what the right one would be. I keep coming back to the part with the ??? popup bubble pointing at Homestar... And for page title, maybe Limozeen Live! Promo to keep it consistent? Thunderbird 06:30, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Hmmm... Maybe we should debate this closer to date stated? Oh, and if anyone lives near the concert, keep your eyes plealed for posters! Some less devoted fans don't check the site that often, so they would want to make sure enough people find out about it. Maybe even non-homestar fans will see them and think Homestar is a mascot... Sorry for getting side-tracted. HaldoHelscome!

Stuff in the Background

Question: Is that a wave-your-arms-around style video gaming console I spy on top of the television? Also, should the Homestar puppet be mentioned in the article? EYanyo 06:14, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

I can't speak for the first for certain (though I did notice the object and thought similarly), but I think the puppet will be mentioned once a transcript is complete (though I'm not sure how we'll transcribe one such as this). --DorianGray 06:29, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Yup, it's definitely a Vii. Trey56 16:24, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Lazor

Given that they have at least one Band member: "CRUSH," that proves that Lazor is a 'real' band akin to Limozeen and Taranchula, unlike just a suggestion like Bigg Nife, doesn't it deserve it's own page, however small that article may be?? —Flashfight 10:37, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

I sure think it does. Does anybody disagree? 99.233.179.152 21:54, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

That is a very good point ~ MBD123

Uh-huh. HaldoHelscome!

So, as for next Sursdai.....

Assuming they're not just being silly, is there anyone in the Atlanta area who can go to Ten High next week to write an article/transcript/set list? If so, the following points:
1) Will our brave adventurer be taking a camera? This is the kind of thing we would all love to see, and some of us aren't quite so close.
2) Will this be legal? Now, really, I don't see TBC having a problem with a wiki member filming it for posterity, but the club owner/manager is important here, too.
3) How shall we go about the necessary inquiries as to legality: ASAP, or on the day of? Doing it ahead of time, our adventurer might be able to get not only clearance, but optimum seating.

Something else that would be nice to know in case anyone is in the know. The announcement convieniently omits how much it is at the door. I'm very seriously considering taking a little road trip to Georga to see it. I'm assuming it wouldn't be more than $10-20, but in the rare event that it's like $100, I think I'll pass. But, although, I couldn't afford it (there's a good chance I won't be able to afford the trip at all), it would definately be worth it. This is like the concert of a lifetime, as far as I'm concerned. That, and a road trim to Texas to see [[Wikipedia:The From: HomestarRunner <homestarrunner2001@yahoo.com>

Well, if someone wants to e-mail TBC and ask them Question #2 and JJ's question, that would be nice. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 03:11, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
The club management need not be worried about. The talent, yes. I'd suggest that someone with deep access to TBC contact them to see what recording and coverage would be acceptable. Perhaps they'd be amenable if we work through channels. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 03:41, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I emailed Karen Wagner about the matter, and got this as a reply.

Subject: Re: Homestar Runner "Concert"

Devon,

I talked to Matt and as far as he knows the club has no policy banning the taping of performances.

Thanks,

Karen

So, in short, if anyone wishes to go to the bar and tape the show and/or take any photos, they are welcome to do so. -Strong Devon 23:52, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

21 and older?

Hrm... Seems like a legit warning to me...

Is this taking place in a bar or something?

Yes, it is in a bar. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 22:47, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

What! I can't see orange!

Hey, whenever I viewe this page, the text never shows up at the begining, it just skips straight to the toon. Does this happen to anyone else?-- DongleGoblin 04:07, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

The link goes straight to the toon, not to the text part. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 04:21, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Oranges?

I don't get that line. How is that related to Guitar Hero? Homestar-Winner (talk) 10:35, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

It's talking about the fifth fret button (colored orange) that's only used above medium difficulty. -DAGRON 11:30, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

PLEASE Tell Me This Is Real!

I would seriously spend the money to be able to see this... But let's remeber that it might not be real, like, they were just fooling around or something. For the sake of many H*R fans, we MUST invesigate this... ASAP.

This is about the second or third worst post I've ever heard or seen of. I'm just kidding. We already now this isn't real. TBC would hold a press-media thing or or an interview. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 13:10, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
No, I'm actually betting this is real. Homestar-Winner (talk) 13:21, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Dude, I'm not sure why people are so convinced this is somehow bogus, when it's announced not only on the H*R website, but also on the website of a known TBC collaborator, Y-O-U as part of their regular shows at a real bar. wbwolf (t | ed) 14:27, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
Not to mention it's officially listed on the MySpace page for the concert series of which it is a part. It all seems pretty legit. TBC aren't Paris Hilton. They don't have to call a press confrence for everything they do.--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 22:01, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

"Duet" versus "Do It"

In the transcript of the song itself... doesn't "do it" make more sense... especially considering the references to Texas Instruments and "low-res" beauty queen. In other words she remembers how they did stuff in the old days. --Aegd

"Duet" was the word used in the Quote of the Week way back when. Thusly, used here too. --DorianGray 03:30, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Disney Reference?

Don't the pop-ups look a lot like the ones the Disney Channel does in some of their movies? where they make notes on the production and actors?

Hmmm....

This was a few days ago! does anyone have it on tape?

There's at least a couple videos up on YouTube; Limozeen performing "Box (Living It Up)" and introing the band, and a performance of "Trogdor". wbwolf (t | ed) 15:39, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
