Talk:Main Page
From Homestar Runner Wiki
If so, please add it to the updates page. If you're not sure how to do that, then just post a note on this page, and we'll take care of the rest. Thanks!
It has been suggested that the Main Page be redesigned. Feel free to use its project page for proposed redesigns.

Featured content of the day (or whenever) issue
I noticed that the trogdor 08 link to "watch" links to trogday.html, and not trogday08.html is this a known issue? ColdReactive 13:04, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Discussions
There are a lot of talk page discussions happening on this wiki. The problem is, this wiki is not very active, so such discussions rarely get consensus and very few things get done. (That's why I'm always reviving old discussions with a phrase like "I still agree with this.") I think there should be some way to keep track of all the ongoing discussions. Maybe a [[HRWiki:Discussions]] page or something to keep these discussions from becoming inactive. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 01:37, 6 August 2018 (UTC)

February 21?
Why does the Main Page say that the newest Skills of an Artist was released on February 21 when it was released this month? 76.184.27.104 20:23, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- My bad. I probably copy-pasted it when updating and forgot to change the date. Thanks for bringing it to my attention~ --DorianGray 20:34, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
Two Questions
These two edits raise two questions concerning wiki standards.
- How should "Toon Name (video)" pages (like Sketchbook (video) and Trogdor!! The Board Game (video)) be listed in pages? "Toon Name (video)", or "Toon Name Video"?
- Should retroactive names (using a character's name in an early transcript before their name is revealed) be allowed in transcripts?
I don't really have an opinion for the first one (possibly leaning slightly toward "Toon Name Video"). But for the second one, I think retroactive names should be allowed. It makes things a lot more convenient for the reader, and it's not like anyone's going to be reading these transcripts in order. Plus, if the person is browsing the wiki, chances are they're aware of the character's name. If Baron Darin Diamonocle is the title of his wiki page, he should be called that in all his transcripts too. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 07:04, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
- I kind of agree with the first one. The parens are just internal to the wiki to distinguish pages. Note that the second was reverted. -174.62.238.201 12:53, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
