404'd

I still don't think it's notable that for a couple of minutes the page was 404'd even though the update was up... this happens a lot, like nearly every week. — Defender1031*Talk 10:36, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

The page still isn't up. Just the Flash file. I know I don't edit here much anymore, but that seems notable to me. Shwoo 10:40, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
It's, uh...still doin' the 404'd thing. Maybe they were just both really tired and fell asleep having forgotten to make the link work? This has definitely been more than an hour, and I dunno about what's happened in the past, but...this might be worth a looksee. -- Onamuji 13:26, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, it's about 2pm now, and I'm STILL getting the 404'd message. I cleared my cache, too. Help? -- Nevadie 21:19, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Questionable Surgeon

His voice matches the announcer's voice from business trip and nightlife, doesn't it? He does go, "Mmmmmm" and "Yes, that's right" in the same fashion. Would that go under remarks or inside references? --66.82.9.58 13:46, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Am I the only user who's taking notice of this bit of information? It's under the discussion page because other users might disagree with that fact when they see it in the article and immediately remove it. --Charlie Jr. 20:41, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I'd say it's worth a mention in inside references, as long as you give each one a second listen and make sure it's exactly the same. LikeAsItself 21:04, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Surgery.

Is this a new running gag? I could have sworn I heard something long ago about Marzipan having sugery done...67.161.122.193|14:40, 25 February 2008

Other instances I found include Strong Bad's lace-lift and The Cheat getting declawed, but nothing about Marzipan's surgery. It fits that rule about 3 appearances, but I don't know if these are unusual enough appearances for an article. Bad Bad Guy 23:10, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Surgery Photo

When I first played it, the photo didn't pop up. Awexome 17:39, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

What photo? Me neither. Is there a photo?
Worked for me, my prediction is that we will see different version of Marzi surgeries in the sketchbook section later. I R F 18:58, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Listen to Bub's voice... LiStEn To iT! You can here this in Happy Dethemberween too!! Was that here before?!?!

What are you talking about? Do you hear something different from normal? Why don't you describe it so we know what you are talking about? Maybe someone can answer you when we know what the questoon is. P.S. I LiStEnEd To iT! and Happy Dethemberween too!! and I don't know what to listen for because you aren't saying what you're talking about.
Same Here, and plus, Coach Z's voice was a little different than normal this time. --76.204.90.137 23:11, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
well, he is making a sad attempt at talking like a gangsta, so that doesn't count. as for bubs, i dunno, maybe his voice is a little higher than it used to be, but i wouldn't bet money on it --Zatchman (Neumannz) 03:27, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Unpluged Microphone

Hey, it's that guy named Ben from the Fanstuff Wiki. I think Coach Z's unpluged microphone is a refrence to unpluged phones. Yeah. And I bet the phone he was using was unpluged as well.

Bubs's arms

Bubs's arms seem to be back to their old two different Flash pieces being animated separately. Is this notable? Homestar-Winner (talk) 23:40, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Cheatanese

Is it unusual that Strong Bad had to translate The Cheat's prank call, when Marzipan's never had any trouble understanding The Cheat before (especially in Date Nite). In fact, this is really the first time anyone had to translate for the Cheat, isn't it? Other than cheat talk, everyone usually seems to have no problem understanding him.--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 00:05, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

It COULD be the case that Strong Bad is the one on the phone and The Cheat is standing next to him telling him what to say... and then he grabs the phone away to gnaw on it... or he's gnawing on the phone itself rather than the receiver or something. --Jay (Talk) 00:36, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

It COULD be just some thing they did to be funny.

Ad-VER-tiss-ment?

It's probably not typical of the Chaps to make reference to Internet memes in H*R cartoons, but the Questionable Surgeon's pronunciation of "Ad-VER-tiss-ment" is oddly reminiscent of how the announcer says it in this YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-3qncy5Qfk (key line: "We interrupt this adVERtisment to BLOW YOUR MIND!") --96.225.193.131 00:38, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

It's actually fairly common that they do, even if the references are deleted by wiki users who refuse to acknowledge them...but isn't pronunciation of a common word pretty TTATO?--64.193.79.137 00:48, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Right. "Ad-VER-tis-ment", as dumb as it sounds, is actually a legit pronunciation of the word[1]. So no reference. Has Matt? (talk) 00:56, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Technically, and the only reason I bring this up is because it's a common mistake that I and a lot of people have made, it's NOT TTATOT, because there is no "that" or "other thing" that it might be referencing. It's just not a reference, like Matt said. Nightsong81 02:46, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Coach Z unplugged

Is this too awkward to somehow combine or associate this instance into Coach Z's unplugged phone history? (There's already a page dedicated to Coach Z using unplugged telephones.)

I'd be inclined to say this is unrelated. For now. Phone unconected = loser; mike unconnnected = lecher. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 01:07, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
