| I still think we should leave in the fact that this is the most legible thing Homsar has ever said. Oh, and I know he responded legibly in homsar, but this was longer. I didn't say it was the only legible thing he's ever said, I said it's the most legible thing he's ever said. --VolatileChemical 17:43, 8 Apr 2005 (MDT) | | I still think we should leave in the fact that this is the most legible thing Homsar has ever said. | :I wrote it as December 2001 or January 2002, not so much because of Homsar, but because Bubs, Strong Bad and Homestar all sound more modern here than they do in "The House That Gave Sucky Treats". In "The House", Strong Bad in particular still had his quasi-Hispanic accent, whereas here (disregarding his bad British accent), he has his more current (at least it sounds that way). That's why I put this post-"The House".MHarrington 05:27, 27 September 2006 (UTC) | | :I wrote it as December 2001 or January 2002, not so much because of Homsar, but because Bubs, Strong Bad and Homestar all sound more modern here than they do in "The House That Gave Sucky Treats". - | Is it just me, or is it never overtly stated that Green Bubs is drunk in this episode? It sure is implied (a squirrel would probably guess that the good coach has had a few too many) but never stated. I think it would be a good idea to acknowledge that it is never said whether the coach got plowed at Bubs' or not. 03:58, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
| |
- | :It is technically true that we don't know for sure if he's drunk... but it does seem pretty dang close to certain. It wouldn't hurt to acknowledge it, I suppose, but I'm not sure it helps, either. 04:03, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

- | ::I think it falls under that same category as that time when Strong Bad drank a bottle of soy sauce and thought he could fly Bubs' Concession Stand. It's strongly implied, but it's not outright said. We can't say for sure, just like we can't say that Strong Sad was actually caffeinated in his subsequent escapades, and not just merely hyperactive. — 04:07, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
| |
- | :::In other words, we should acknowledge that it isn't written in stone? 05:29, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
| |
- | ::::I think that unless implied otherwise, we should use our common sense of drawing those conclusions. Anyone who ever saw or heard a drunk person, know that Coach Z acted like one. Although It's not actually said, but it's not that far fetched. 11:09, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
| |
- | :::::Lawlz. I think Lapper was implying that simply because I think that we shouldn't jump to the conclusion that he was drunk, that we should, and because I thought that we should conclude that Strong Sad was caffeinated all those times, we shouldn't. So, whatever I think, the Wiki should do the opposite. OK. I think the Wiki shouldn't send Jimmy Wales 100,000,000 Viagra spamvertisements each day (evil grin). 11:25, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

- | Well, I don't like the idea of saying that Coach Z was drunk, but not just for the reasons above. My problem is that HR is now supposed to be a family friendly site, and, thus, The Brothers Chaps would not go so far as to explicitly state that a character was drunk, and would, instead, just imply it. In that vein, I'm going to modify the transcript slightly. Trlkly 02:23, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

- | :I don't know why there wasn't a running time. I've added the one listed on All Toons to this page, as well as Answering Machine 7 and 9. --DorianGray 23:51, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
