I still think we should leave in the fact that this is the most legible thing Homsar has ever said. Oh, and I know he responded legibly in homsar, but this was longer. I didn't say it was the only legible thing he's ever said, I said it's the most legible thing he's ever said. --VolatileChemical 17:43, 8 Apr 2005 (MDT)

::Listening it over, actually, the laughing is in the exact same place in the QotW and the actual line as delivered in the toon. As for the syncronization... it definitely sounds like the same words as the QotW, but there's a larger pause in there. While the QotW jumps right from "Bananas" to "Tell her I said", the toon waits a second or two. --Shadow Hog 06:29, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Okay, which came first, this Answering Machine?  Or The House That Gave Sucky Treats?  I thought it was generally accepted that this was the first place where Homsar was reintroduced after being crushed by the Heavy Lourde in homsar, but the estimated date on this toon indicates that it came after The House, and Homsar also appeared there.  So do we have a discrepancy in where he was reintroduced?  Or does the estimated date on this article need to be adjusted? 00:18, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

:I wrote it as December 2001 or January 2002, not so much because of Homsar, but because Bubs, Strong Bad and Homestar all sound more modern here than they do in "The House That Gave Sucky Treats". In "The House", Strong Bad in particular still had his quasi-Hispanic accent, whereas here (disregarding his bad British accent), he has his more current (at least it sounds that way). That's why I put this post-"The House".MHarrington 05:27, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

Is it just me, or is it never overtly stated that Green Bubs is drunk in this episode? It sure is implied (a squirrel would probably guess that the good coach has had a few too many) but never stated. I think it would be a good idea to acknowledge that it is never said whether the coach got plowed at Bubs' or not. 03:58, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

::I think it falls under that same category as that time when Strong Bad drank a bottle of soy sauce and thought he could fly Bubs' Concession Stand. ::::I think that unless implied otherwise, we should use our common sense of drawing those conclusions. Anyone who ever saw or heard a drunk person, know that Coach Z acted like one. Although It's not actually said, but it's not that far fetched. 11:09, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

:::::Lawlz. I think Lapper was implying that simply because I think that we shouldn't jump to the conclusion that he was drunk, that we should, and because I thought that we should conclude that Strong Sad was caffeinated all those times, we shouldn't. Well, I don't like the idea of saying that Coach Z was drunk, but not just for the reasons above. My problem is that HR is now supposed to be a family friendly site, and, thus, The Brothers Chaps would not go so far as to explicitly state that a character was drunk, and would, instead, just imply it. In that vein, I'm going to modify the transcript slightly. Trlkly 02:23, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

The quote of the week is not exactly the same as what Bubs is saying behind message 1. If you syncronise them, What Bubs says gets unsyncronised after "tell her I said". Also, can anyone hear the rest of what Mr. Bubs says? --smileyface.PNG11945 (Talk/Ctrbs) 00:30, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, when I heard the QOTW my initial thought was that it was an outtake, especially because of the way he cracks up and drifts out of the Bubs voice. We should take its wording out of the transcript. —AbdiViklas 01:20, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
