Notes

from Super Martyo Brother, originally located in the article
  • The Interlude is also the accompaniment to the solo.
  • The Interlude gets you though pretty much the rest of the song besides the second solo.
  • The triple 0's in the chorus and verse are actually 4 0's with the last three stummed AFAHP (As Fast As Humanly Possible).
  • If you're playing this at a concert or other form of recital, this would be a good song to follow up with Trogdor or vice versa (because then you've already got the Drop D ;) )
  • Once I switch computers, I'll have a power tab version of this tab available. I strongly suggest you get Power Tab.
  • I'll probably have the solos tabbed out by Sept. 14th unless someone else wants to do it.

Piano

Is there a way to convert this to a piano piece? OpenSourceGreg 07:11, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Sort of beyond the scope of this wiki, but... transcribing tablature as conventional sheet music is a rote task, if that's what you mean, but music written for one instrument doesn't necessarily sound "right" when played on another, and it might be awkward (or even physically impossible) to play the exact same notes from one instrument to another. For these reasons typically one would create a new arrangement of the song specifically for a different instrument — which is a compositional art form in itself. A pianist skilled in improvisation may just wing it either by ear or using a lead sheet with pleasing results though. Have fun.  Green Helmet 13:51, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Well, I'm no skilled pianist in improvisation, that's for sure. Maybe it will come along one of these days... Thanks, anyway! OpenSourceGreg 15:23, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
