Permission needed
Before a transcript of an interview or a story from other media (websites, magazines and such) can be posted here, we need a written permission from the author and/or the owner. Therefor I removed that transcript for now until one is presented. It is customary to post the email or letter exchange in this talk page. Anyone willing to send that email? This article in in the July issue. I don't know who put down June, but that is just plain wrong. It's V230. I'm going to change it. Please don't get super mad at me. Look it up. It's July 2008. -Philip8o
Permission
I know we have to have permission to write the interview word for word. Which is why I just emailed Nintendo Power this:
I am writing on behalf of the Homestar Runner Wiki to ask if we can have permission to transcribe your interview with Strong Bad from the July 2008 issue. If yes, please print this in the magazine for proof. Thy Not Dennis

I realize there have been two prior discussions on this topic, but as they are >10 yrs old I'd like to revisit the topic. Although Nintendo Power magazine is no longer published, it is presumably still copyrighted (especially as the brand name is still in use) by Nintendo. However, the wiki features a scan of the entire article at high enough resolution to be wholly legible; this was uploaded as an archive copy of a @StrongBadActual tweet. I can't help but wonder - since the wiki is already hosting a full copy of the article, is it still out of the question to feature a typed transcript as well? -- Bleu Ninja

- Yeah, I thought about writing a transcript for this, but had never gotten around to it. I'm not a expert copyrights man, but I don't see why not, seeing as there's already a full copy on the page.
