Why "The Strong Bad"? 1936 Strong Bad isn't called "The Strong Bad"; he's just called "Strong Bad". See e.g. the opening credits for the parsnips toon.

In Ballad of the Sneak, the Barbershop Trio refers to him as The Strong Bad. --Kilroy 08:54, 28 Oct 2004 (MST)
Even so, you can make a case that that was just to make it fit the verse. And he's certainly never called "The Strong Bad" at any other time—including, most significantly, in the opening credits for the parsnip toon, which I think we ought to regard as the official versions of 1936 characters' names. This is like listing The Cheat as "Cheat" because of the one line in one toon "kickin' Cheats in the hereafter": an isolated reference does not establish a character's name, especially if it contradicts all the other references to that character.
I have to agree; I think he may have been referred to as "Sir Strong Bad" more than "The Strong Bad" - and I'm a little reluctant to call him that either. He's just 1936 Strong Bad. Should we start calling the 1936 equivalent of Homestar's girlfriend "The Marzipan"? --Jay 12:35, 15 Dec 2004 (MST)

The Strong Mustache

His moustache moves in a way very similiar to the way Strong Bad's head moves when he's answering emails.
