Explaining for Loafing and any others: Monty Python would be unknown to me and most Americans if it weren't for the fact that PBS aired their program. Thus, it's reasonable to include it in this article. However, it would seem that there are enough MP references to justify a Monty Python article on its own. I would support splitting this into that and a PBS article. Thoughts? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 08:22, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Ah, reading further in RC I see this has been done. Still, discussion is worthwhile. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 08:23, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
I split those into two articles for three reasons: a) Monty Python is only something that PBS shows, not something that they commissioned. It's not even from the same continent. b) As you said, there are well enough references listed to support a separate Monty Python article, and c) for someone from outside the US, a combined PBS/MP article makes no sense at all (even though for TBC it might, I give you that). Loafing 08:44, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
When I put this article out live with both combined it was a coin flip decision. In hindsight, I agree that they probably should have been seperated to start and with the see also linking here. Thanks guys! - ISTC 15:26, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

New Picture

I don't want to sound pompous, but I believe the current picture could apply to childrens' shows from any channel. Would enough people want to change it to the "Viewers Like You" scene from autobiography? Bad Bad Guy 02:40, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Although Seasame Street is a PBS show, it is also shown in at least one other country, like Australia for example, and some people may not understand the joke there. I replaced it with Bad Guys suggested image.--~ SlipStream 04:49, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Pbs vs. Pbs Kids

You know in retrospect most of the Pbs jokes are PBS Kids jokes. Should we seperate PBS from PBS Kids? They are 2 seperate things you know.

At the very least, we can create two subsections: "PBS" and "PBS Kids". --Kingdom Stars 15:40, 6 June 2010 (UTC)
Alright I'll get started on it.
Whew! Ok done
