[edit] Move to Urination?

"Peeing" is slang. Should we move? TheYellowDart(t/c)

Ugh! Yes, PLEASE! Just looking at this article title makes me want to puke (and reminds me of a rather unfortunate incident that happened earlier today, but that's personal)! Urination is much better. -Brightstar Shiner 02:14, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
"Peeing" sounds more Homestarish, like Puking and Swears. --Trogga 02:15, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Yes, but Peeing is a more commonly used term. You don't hear someone say "I have to urinate", they say "I have to pee". --Jangles5150 02:16, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
It's true that "urinate" is a far less common term (especially amongst children), but it is far more proper. — Lapper (talk) 02:18, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
I've actually been debating whether to make a Urination page, based on the ever-growing list on A Jumping Jacks Contest for speculation why the cartoon was taken down. I figured it'd be better to have a page specifically for urination, rather than keep adding them there... But I didn't really want to be one to associate myself with creating a page about urine. =3 --DorianGray
{replying to Jangles' post} Yeah, but we didn't call Swears Cussing or Puking Hurling. Also, Peeing just sounds so discusting. -Brightstar Shiner 02:20, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
I've never heard anyone say "urinate" on H*R. --Trogga 02:23, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Do they need to have said it to make it a valid page name? --DorianGray
My point is, if we move this to Urination, then Puking should be moved to Vomiting. --Trogga 02:29, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Supposing I had made this page, and thusly named it Urination in the first place. Would there be a discussion to move it to Peeing? --DorianGray
Urination is more professional-esque. "Peeing" is so...... uncyclopediaic. TheYellowDart(t/c) 02:31, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

How is "Peeing" disgusting? --Jangles5150 02:27, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

If your toothpaste fell in a toilet full of pee and you had to dig it out with your bare hands at 7:15 am, then you would think it's disgusting. -Brightstar Shiner 02:35, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Ugh! You nasty!! I'ma going to move it now!! TheYellowDart(t/c) 02:36, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
The vocabulary used in H*R is "peeing", so I think this would be the better title, much like how "puking" is to be preferred to "vomiting". As a side note, aren't we going a bit overboard to say the word "peeing" is digusting? Heimstern Läufer 02:46, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
<sigh> Fine, whatever. It sure as heck is disgusting to me because of what happened this morning, but you guys aren't me (Or are you?! 0.o), so I guess we can keep it as is. -Brightstar Shiner 03:01, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
I dunno, Birghtstar. If my toothpaste fall into anything I wouldn't reach out and put it back. I'd just use a new one. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:35, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
I agree with E.L. Cool. With all condolances to your dearly departed toothbrush, Brightstar, I think you'd be disgusted whether it fell into pee or urine. So, there's no distinction. Point is, as others have said, this is the H*R universe term. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 10:01, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I guess you're right. Peeing isn't a term I use much anyway (usually "go to the bathroom", "number 1", or "crap"), but it is more Homestar-ish, so go ahead. And just for clarification, I was at snow camp and had to take it out because there weren't any other toothpaste tubes in the immediate vacinity. But that's not the point. -Brightstar Shiner 13:14, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
In any case the proper technical term is micturation... just.. just puttin that out there.

[edit] Cleanup

Because we now have a Wetting the Bed page, all of the instances of such listed here should be removed and moved there if they aren't already. — Defender1031*Talk 17:55, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

Done. They were all there on Wetting the Bed already. —Guard Duck talk 18:01, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Aching Bladders?

  • Homestar Ruiner — Strong Bad is annoyed that Marzipan temporarily transplanted Credenza (her ficus) out of her front yard, because he wanted to pee on it. Also, he tells the audience to go relieve their aching bladders while he takes some time to dig a hole.

Regarding the bolded part, it was added and then immediately reverted. Having not played the game, and the edit summary being beyond vague, i don't know if it was removed because it's not true or for some other reason. If it DOES happen, then it certainly belongs. Also, it sounds like something strong bad would say, and i can't think of a reason why someone would have made it up. so, anyone? does he say it? — Defender1031*Talk 22:04, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Well, that answered my question. — Defender1031*Talk 22:07, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
