:::Ironic, isn't it, that a page about poorly written emails is poorly written? --DorianGray 08:00, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

::::I can add it to the list if you'd like; that way we'd be sure it's done right. - 19:48, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Maybe they should just sort it into separate rows per e-mail as opposed to per flash file. Here are some examples:

-
:Spring cleaning would be split into either three or four rows.

-
::(2) "Do you have a secret crush with Marzipan", a missing comma, and Steve doesn't capitalize his own name or "Sterling". (3) No comma between "Bend" and "Oregon" (4) Repetitive use of the word crap (not as vulgar, just redundant). (5) "Suprised"

-
:50 emails would be split into three rows.

-
::(1) "Strong Bad" not capitalized, and an exclamation mark instead of a question mark. (2) "Stong Bad", and Matt doesn't capitalize his own name. (4) No commas.

-
These are my examples, which are currently only brief. The real version would be more organized. Wiremeup13579 21:19, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Cleanup
-
I see that this page needs a lot of cleanup.  I am wondering though, in which way should it be cleaned up?  I am thinking about capitalizing the table entries and including periods.  Also, I don't think it would hurt if the " " is taken out and things are actually repeated.  Some of the sentences need rewording, and in the Emails that spell Strong Bad/Strong Badia as one word, the note "But spells 'Strong Badia' correctly should be changed to just "Spells 'Strong Badia' correctly".

-
Anything else that should be changed? 13:56, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

This is still a very messy page. Maybe it should just be a listing of the poorly written emails all with links to that emails hrwiki page. All of these emails have a whole page dedicated to them and those pages more than likely list the inconsistencies with the english language. If they don't they should. What do you guys think? Awesomermustang 20:02, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

-
:They actually don't, really. On those pages, we're more interested in what the Chaps put out than the stuff the emailers misspell. That's why this page exists in the first place. --DorianGray 20:08, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

DO YOU THINK IT WOULD MAKE ANY SENSE TO WRITE IN "ENTIRE E-MAIL CAPITALIZED" IN ALL CAPS ITSELF? I KNOW ALL THIS WOULD REALLY DO IS MAKE IT MORE NOTICEABLE AND HINT TO PEOPLE WHO SPEAK ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (Though it is my main one), BUT IT'S WORTH A SHOT. (THIS IS ONLY IN ALL CAPS JUST FOR FUN.) Wiremeup13579 21:02, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Nobuyoshi...male or female?
-

-
Okay, the poorly written e-mails description says Nobuyoshi doesn't capitalize his i's.

-
* "i love The Cheat! Can you ask him for me if he is taken?"

-
Otherwise, the general name is probably gender neutral.

Will there ever be a "perfect" e-mail?
-

-
Anyone notice that not a single e-mail is "perfect"? As in no spelling, grammer, punctuation, or capitalization errors? Except for "homsar", which Strong Bad considers having no mistake. It technically does have a mistake, but Strong Bad never counts it as one, but we do. Do you think there will 'ever' be a "perfect" e-mail? I'm putting it in quotes because Strong Bad will always find a way to make fun of it, I got to find a way to stump him! --24.13.162.218 18:24, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

I don't think bed-time can be classified as a spelling error. Yes, it's not traditional, but it is technically correct because both "bed time" and "bedtime" exist. "Bed-time" can also be classified as a hyphenated compound word, such as in "editor-in-chief". It is not an example of a poorly written word, just a quirk of grammar. - 21:54, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

I added super powers to the list because the poor grammar of the email affects Strong Bad's pronunciation of the first question. 19:23, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

Should these count as being poorly written? It's generally considered poor etiquette.

:I don't think poor etiquette technically counts as poorly written. They shouldn't be included. 23:16, 1 May 2017 (UTC)

::(Edit conflict'd) Well, they are mentioned at the bottom of the respective pages, which are linked in the green box at the bottom of the page. There are several of them. 23:20, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
