SB-Homestar making up the lightning and thunder sounds is a reference to the

first halloween cartoon where Homestar's speech was
supported by real lightning. This could be seen as a first hint that this is in
fact not the real Homestar Runner.

Strong Bad's Homestar Impression

Strong Bad's Homestar impression is a lot better in Pumpkin Carve-nival than it is in Where's The Cheat?. I'd add this fun fact, but I don't know which cartoon came first, so I don't know whether to say

"Strong Bad's Homestar impression in Pumpkin Carve-nival has improved greatly since Where's The Cheat?

or

"Strong Bad's Homestar impression in Where's The Cheat? is much worse than it was before in Pumpkin Carve-nival."

(smile)

I don't really think that is fun fact worthy. Let's see what other people think. →[[User:FireBird|FireBird]]

Hey guys, did you notice that when homestar (the real one) walked on screen, that he was fully evolved? The fake one and both at the end were 2nd to last. unknown

What the crap are you talking about? Fully evolved?

Just see Homestar Runner Evolution. Then you'll know. -Kinsey

Both Homestars are fully evolved throughout the entire ovie. Poopsmith Z

Hints

Does anyone agree that there were actually several hints to who Homestar REALLY was in this cartoon.

He picked the Cheat to help him. He gave Strong Mad good points, even though it was total crap. Several of the things that he said and did, like the way that he kept interupting the King, the way that he walked past the Poopsmith and several other things.

-Lord-Z

Is he the bee?

Is Strong Bad Da Bee? I know that the real Strong Bad was disguised as Homestar, but when he pops out of Homestar's head he appears to have a yellow body. Can anyone confirm whether or not he was wearing his Da Bee costume under his Homestar Costume? smileyface.PNG11945 (Talk/Ctrbs) 02:32, 10 December 2005 (UTC)

Since that's pretty much the only evidence, I'd have to say yes. Seems kinda odd... --DorianGray

Weird Voice

If you view the flash file to this movie and at the end, click on the King of Town to start the Super Kingio Bros. game, while you are actually playing the game, right click on it and hit Forward. A weird voice that sounds like The Poopsmith's costume character will play!

-Triforce1215

Odd, doesn't work for me. — talk Bubsty edits 05:22, 21 December 2005 (UTC)
Well, I can't remember wheather it was Forward or Play or Loop, but its one of those. I also had Flash player 8 when I did it, so maybe you need to update your flash player. -Triforce1215

added a trivia

donno if that is where it should be but i added the pepsi twist refrence, feel free to move it or whatever, for thoughs who dont remember 'actually its not pepsi, its a pepsi twist!, and im not really Britney Spears im really Randy Spears!'

Real-World Referrences Unnecessary?

Wouldn't maintaining the real-world referrences on this page be kind of redundant, since all the costume information is located on the respective costume page?

Not all of them... But a couple, perhaps. --DorianGray

Strong Bad as Homestar

Why is Strong Bad written as being Homestar through most of the transcript? Shouldn't you do the same thing that was done with Missing Lappy, and spoil their identity straight away? And maybe a fun fact on Strong Bad's ability to move things without using his arms? --Some Lurker

Hey, Some Lurker. I would like to point out that nothing we write in the transcripts will spoil anything for anybody. Nobody will read the transcript before watching the actual Flash movie. And for people with hearing difficulties, we have subtitles. Apart from that, you have a point. We have handled these cases inconsistently. Maybe we should do something about that. And that fun fact is not such a bad idea. I'll add it. Loafing 10:21, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
Hmmmhmmm, it doesn't seem like SB dressed up as Homestar does actually move anything. The price ribbons simply appear out of thin air. Loafing 10:35, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

OK, since we can't remove the spoilers from Missing Lappy or add any to this, what should be the definite, once-and-for-all way of referring to characters disguised as others? The most peeved I've ever been at this site, Bad Bad Guy 19:58, 17 March 2007 (UTC) Should I change "Homestar" to "guy dressed as Homestar" to match the "caller who sounds exactly like Marzipan" thing from Missing Lappy? Bad Bad Guy 20:16, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

No, I don't think so. It's fine the way it is. — It's dot com 23:55, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

I feel like mentioning that I used to think it was more necessary to make this match Missing Lappy than vice verca, and the only reason I got so ticked when Missing Lappy was reverted was because they no longer matched. I actually edited this twice before doing Lappy, though the first time was simply rearranging the Cast (order of appearance) section, which I'd like to know if anyone else minds if I change again, if I can't revise the whole thing. Another idea I had was to put "Homestar" and "Strong Bad" in quotes during the transcript. Bad Bad Guy 00:23, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Although, I somewhat fear that the 2nd idea will go agaist the intentions of TBC, but then again, Quermac doesn't think these transcripts should replace the toons, which makes me wonder if he accepts ideas that go against their intentions. Bad Bad Guy 00:27, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
This quotation mark thing might match their intentions. It could say, "it's not really Homestar, but you aren't supposed to know that." Anyway, I already took steps towards accuracy in other pages and in the imdb Everything Else 2 quotes page as well. Bad Bad Guy 02:33, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

The Winner

The true Strong Bad reveals himself as the ultimate winner of the contest. I think this would actually make sense that he would win, since he (though technically, it should be The Goblin dressed up as he), Strong Mad and Bubs are the only ones who did not get a bad prize (last, worst, etc.). MHarrington 06:57, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

"Dressed up as he"? That's the weirdest hypercorrection I've ever seen. ;) And Pom Pom's prize wasn't bad; it just wasn't first place. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 06:59, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

The Cheeeeat!

If anybody reads this (I thought it would be more likely this time o' year), a goof should be added that while viewing Strong Mad's pumpkin, the Cheat throws his hands up and his left one goes underneath Homestar/Strong Bad's sock. I would have added this myself, but I didn't have a picture to support it with. -- 4.244.212.239 19:59, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Sics

ACupOfCoffee, why the sics at all? I'm confused. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 18:53, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

I see why. One refers to "Strong Sad's mask", not Strong Bad. And another one used the phrasing "we're been consistent". That ain't be good grammar. --DorianGray 18:54, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
I can see the case for the first, but the second's just confusing. I looked at the toon (I don't have the commentary handy) and I could not see the image that they described. Either it's unnecessary or merits further explanation. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 18:59, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
