[edit] Questionable deletion

Previously, it had three entries. One of which was the Questionable Water from Halloween Potion-ma-jig. I deleted the questionable entry because the article is about questionable services, and I don't see how questionable water is a service. And now this running gag is has two entries. Unless the article gets a name change, it looks like it'll be Del Taco'd. --209.148.176.136 20:45, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Then the page needs a rename, not a delete. — Defendarrrr1031Talk 20:50, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Maybe we could move this page to "Questionable things" or something less specific. I really think the word "questionable" is a noteworthy running gag. Guybrush20X6 20:53, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

I won't question that! Either Questionable Things, or just "Questionable. They both fit. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 01:17, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
I may be the only one who feels this way, but in my opinion, "Things" doesn't go well in the title of an article. Is there a word more specific than "Things" but less specific than "Services" that could be used? Shine Sprite (complain) 06:02, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
Questionable Nouns?--Jellote wuz here 13:00, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
Nouns is even worse than "things". It really just means "things" but could also be "person" or "place" too. — Defendarrrr1031Talk 13:10, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

We've got articles like Best/Worst X Ever, East/West X, Pasty White X, Sweet Lady X, X, I mean X, I mean X, Ow! My X!, Not X .. why not Questionable X ? OptimisticFool 15:30, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

That's used only as a last resort when NOTHING else will fit... IMO "things" is better than X here. But come on people, we can do even better than that! — Defendarrrr1031Talk 15:32, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
Going out on a limb here... questionability? If that is a word, that may be the best title for such a page.--Jellote wuz here 01:01, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
I like the name the way it is, as it shows exactly what the page is about. Simplifying the name (Questionable, etc.) makes it too ambiguous and sets it up for just being a list of times the word "questionable" was used. --DorianGray 03:34, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
Except you miss the point. Water isn't a service, yet is clearly part of the joke. Basically, it's "Questionable X" that is the joke, but not, say, "blah blah something is questionable at best". The question (no pun intended) is what to best put in for that X as a title. — Defendarrrr1031Talk 09:08, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
You havn't actually voiced what You want the page to be named, DeFender. That said, I personally like Questionable X, because, said before, it fits in with our other "X" pages. I wouldn't call it a "last resort" kinda thing, it's just used when a lot of different words are used with the title word, in this case, "Questionable". StrongAwesome 11:24, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
I really don't like Questionable X. All the things on this list can be summed up, at worst, as "things" (many of those other X titles cannot). Frankly, I'm not opposed to retaining "services" and essentially just fudging a bit for the water one (one can always view the provision of water as a service), though I'd prefer to find something more specific if we can. Failing that, rename to "Questionable Things" or just keep as is. Heimstern Läufer 14:33, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
StrongAwesome74, I have been implying that I don't have a better name and was hoping someone else did, but that given what's on the table right now, I think the best is "Questionable Things". In other words, basically what Heim said. — Defendarrrr1031Talk 18:22, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
I agree with DG. The current name is the most precise, as well as the best sounding. Sure, water is an exception, but so what? It's not like we've never had exceptions before. -128.103.10.216 00:21, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
I prefer the current naming much more over "Questionable X". It is much more precise and if you think about it, there are such a thing as "water services" (including water delivery), so it sort of fits. An alternative would be to rename this "Questionable Products and Services" which would encompass all of the current (and likely future) examples of this gag and yet still be narrow enough to define this gag. --Stux 02:39, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Being the one who created the page, let me say that "Questionable Products and Services" is the best alternate title I've seen listed here. Perhaps a little wordy, but what can you do? --Jaybor Day (Talk) 03:17, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
I like "Products and". Clear, to the point, and fits the scope of the page to a T. — Defendarrrr1031Talk 10:44, 13 May 2010 (UTC)
Now that there's some questionable hairs on the antimacassar, should this be renamed to "Questionable Things"? JdfAOhc.png Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 20:33, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
