::::::I agree that not every character costume should get a page, but in this case though, Strong Mad and The King of Town were both dressed up as Rankin/Bass characters (I mistakenly only said one in my last comment), and there is a toon within a toon modeled directly after a Rankin/Bass cartoon (and I can't think of another time that's happened, so it's significant).  So, there are three references (albeit two are in one cartoon) even without the DVD commentary (which I do personally feel should count in references, for reasons I said here).  I personally think that's significant enough to count as a running gag. I think the issue of whether DVD commentary counts really needs to be addressed at some point; it feels really silly when we have a page with three DVD commentary references and a T-shirt. As for someone dressing as a Rankin/Bass character, that alone does not count as criteria for including a page, lest we make one for everything that someone has worn costumes for (and with eleven to twelve characters per year and eleven Halloween toons (counting Which Ween Costumes?), that's quite a few!) --Jay (Talk) 05:00, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
I agree that not every character costume should get a page, but in this case though, Strong Mad and The King of Town were both dressed up as Rankin/Bass characters (I mistakenly only said one in my last comment), and there is a toon within a toon modeled directly after a Rankin/Bass cartoon (and I can't think of another time that's happened, so it's significant). So, there are three references (albeit two are in one cartoon) even without the DVD commentary (which I do personally feel should count in references, for reasons I said here). I personally think that's significant enough to count as a running gag. Jennifer 11:33, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
