:...alright. So are you suggesting we put that in the fun facts section then? (By the way it's ''obvious''. And ''reference''. Sorry for being critical, but I like spelling.) {{User:Acam30/sig}} 04:15, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Scope

So, I'm not sure how in-depth we should go on this page. I don't think it makes sense to transcribe all the blog entries — there's no reason to completely substitute the material people can go to the telltale.com page to view. I think giving a summary of each entry with an image, title, etc. would be good, and we can note any inside references, RWRs, etc. in the Fun Facts section. I dunno, maybe this page can be presented in a better way, but I've gotten it started.

On the other hand, I don't know if the Telltale page is going to be around permanently, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to have the transcripts backed up on somebody's computer... Trey56 06:33, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Oh, one more thing: in case anybody's wondering, this is being written by TBC [1]. Trey56 06:34, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Way ahead of you on the backup thing. I've currently got backed-up transcripts as well as all the images (since's there's currently one not on the wiki page). --BiggerJ 08:46, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Great! Trey56 09:04, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
I agree: as long as the site is up, keep it very brief (we don't transcribe Strong Sad's Lament, and I think this would fall much of the same category). But if/when the Telltale site misappears, I think transcription would be more okay. --DorianGray 09:18, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for putting 'if' first! ;) --Tabacco 04:14, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Opera

In my install of Opera, I cannot scroll all the way through both entries - I can only read down to "They scoffed at the genre-bender "Strong Bad:" and that's as far down as it goes. Anyone else experience this? Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:56, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

That happened to me once in Firefox, but refreshing the page fixed it... Trey56 22:01, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
It's a known bug and the programmer who made that page is on vacation. It will be fixed hopefully tomorrow when he returns! Thanks for the heads up TTGJake 04:10, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Sell it to the Glue Factory!

Any relation to Old Timey SB's claim of selling Sam to the Glue Factory? And if so, should it be noted? --71.121.142.173 02:59, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Doubt it. It's a common, old stereotype/expression. DAGRON 03:34, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Code blue!

Is Strong Sad "operating his own dang self" a plausible reference to Trauma Center: Second Opinion? – The Chort 18:16, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

I must say that I immediately thought of the Trauma Center games when I saw that screenshot.. but it could well be too generic. -- Mithent 18:36, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

"See also" relevant?

i don't see why we need a see also to strong sad's lament. Just a Category:Blogs would do fine

It is relevant because it another externally linked "blog" written by a character. As there are only two at this time, creation of a category would be excessive. If there another such blog created, then we consider the category creation at the time. wbwolf (t | ed) 20:58, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Just wondering...

Umm... does anybody really understand the point of the latest blog entry? I mean don't get me wrong it's hilarious and I'm laughing just remembering it, but seriously, what the heck? It was just so random. Does anyone get what the point was supposed to be? Was it just to hold us over until Monday? --Acam30 02:12, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

So, the summary I put up for the current entry was kinda tongue-in-cheek. I was expecting someone to expand it, but since no one has, are we satisfied with it? -DAGRON 21:37, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Playable Demo

I think the Playable demo should have it's own page, it is an actual game, which actual things to do. TheThin 20:00, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

I agree- anony

Decapitation Swf

If you look at the swf file of the decapitation game, and reshape the window to see a little to the left, you can see Strong Bad's head on whoever's body you just chopped the head off of. Shouldn't this be mentioned somewhere? --TheDenzelTheDenzelsiglogo.gif 20:21, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

Further, if you decapitate someone, and then right click and hit "Play", the Strong Bad-headed version of that character will be decapitated. Interesting, no? --DorianGray 20:29, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Is that intentional or just a weird thing in the coding? --TheDenzelTheDenzelsiglogo.gif 20:37, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Further observation: If you make the window taller than it is wide, the head turns into Strong Bad's as it hits the ground out of frame. This could be a link. --DorianGray 20:41, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Shouldn't the decapitation game have it's own page anyway? I'm no quite accustom to how stuff works here, I just think it deserves its own page. --TheDenzelTheDenzelsiglogo.gif 20:45, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
It probably should. Other similar interactive stuff (like the Taser the Gnome Game or the "payable demo" in a previous devblog) have their own pages, despite being not so much games as activities or goings-on. --DorianGray 20:48, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
As far as i can tell, that's because it just plays the same animation decapitation no matter which character you pick, but it replaces the head and body with that character's. At the end of that animation, the head goes back to Strong Bad's, but the body doesn't. When you press play at the beginning, you can get Strong bad's head on whoever's body because if you don't click any character it won't change the body or head. -Dan the man 18:56, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Dan the man? Any relation to Sam the Man? Anyway, I really don't understand what you're trying to say. OptimisticFool 19:03, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Sutter's Mill

Sutter's Mill was built in January 1848 FYI. ~~The accountless avenger.

He's right. And it takes at least three tildes (squiggilies) to insert a signature. SuperfieldCreditUnion
The only information I could find was that gold was discovered at the mill in January 1848. From the article, it sounded like the mill was constructed before that time, thus why the article says 1847. If you could provide some definite information on confirming that date, a link here and change the article will be order. wbwolf (t | ed) 02:11, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia's article says it was built in 1848, and the article on 1848 also mentions the building of the mill. SuperfieldCreditUnion
Wikipedia, although great, is not a source. Now, if there's a little number next to the 1848 on the article, click it and show us what Wikipedia used as a reference. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 23:12, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Wait, the article says that gold was found there in January 19848, not that it was built then. I can't find when it was built. SuperfieldCreditUnion
Now it's 1948? o_0 --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 06:05, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Oops. Typed 9 instead of 8. Gold was discovered in 1848, and this webpage leads me to believe that it was built in 1847: [2] SuperfieldCreditUnion
