Swear alert/censored version

Say, shouldn't there be some kind of language warning on the page? There's at least one instance of profanity that I could remember in the script. JCM 02:16, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

I disagree. Regardless of the activity level this wiki is still visited by people of all ages who may react differently to the swear word. This, being a draft to a toon where the word in question is found in the stage directions, would never see the word make it to the toon itself. There is also our policy which we shouldn't ignore. While making a whole 'uncensored' version may be a bit much, something should be done to preserve the text and abide by the policy at the same time, even if it's a small language notice. --Stux 14:45, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

First of all, why did you (It's dot com) remove the swear mark if you kept the censored page up? That in itself is very misleading. Second, does an inline warning make sense before the first sentence if it isn't until several sentences later?

Stux: Our policy states that we should consider adding a notice to the reader depending on the severity of the words in question. The phrase "kick-assing" is not severe at all. In fact, it's so mild that pointing it out actually draws more attention to it than simply leaving it alone would. Purple Wrench: I didn't leave the censored page up per se. Yes, but still, as it may surprise some readers not used to seeing such language in transcripts, wouldn't some kind of casual heads-up in the introductory paragraph be helpful? I'm not asking anyone to make a big deal of it or anything, but it is a wiki exclusive with no animated alternative, and I think some kind of notice would be fair. JCM 22:46, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

If someone is going to be surprised, they'll be surprised either way. Putting up a warning would be making it into a bigger deal than it is. We should reserve warnings for when it really counts so as not to water them down. We (rightly) don't have warnings about "smartass" on Hairstyle Runner, "helluva" on Old Characters Page, or "For the Whole Damn Family" on the Third Games Menu, and we don't need one here, either. — It's dot com 00:16, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Strong Bad and Strong Sad

Should this be considered an example of Strong Bad and Strong Sad getting along, or does it only count if it's in an actual toon? Branewashed 14:11, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Strong Sad seems pretty resistant to everything Strong Bad's doing. Considering his actions lead to injury to SS, this could still be argued to be SB bullying SS. I'm not sure where it would necessarily fit, anyways. Maybe it's both? --18:03, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

It's just a blank. Probably they inteded to fill the space when they were recording dialogue or revising the script, but since it's unfinished, they didn't think of something to fill in the spot. --DorianGray 18:02, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
