Quick Tidbit For Level 6.2

Lets say you make it all the way to the bluetant and 3-prong... near the end... choice a) go up and avoid two 3-prongs, then dodge ligtning & two saws... choice b) kill the bluetant, manage up some difficult evaporating clouds, face a bluetant, lightning & two 3-prongs as if you made it past choice a.

Tidbit: if you're any good at this level, and you can make it up choice A unscratched... then do not kill the power-crunch bluetant (or if you do, then don't get the power crunch)... go up choice A, make it to the bluetant... if you kill the bluetant, unharmed, then awesome! Only two lightning bolts and two 3-prongs to go!!! However, if you want to beat the boss, you'll need all your life... say you make a mistake and lose two lives...

backtrack to where choice Bbrings you... right before the 2 bolts and prongs... go down the clouds, and you'll have a powercrunch awaiting for you... then go back up the EVs, because that's the easiest, least deadly... you don't have to worry about that bluetant, and just go through the bolts and prongs again... do it good, full life... beat the boss... kick the mouse... and see the same TV that Stinkoman has...

yeah how to do it: 1) the cloud starts coming at you, when he does it, and on his first land, run imeediately to teh first place he lands for what reason you ask:? so when hekeeps going you can shoot him, only shoot at his sun glasses , its seeming to be the only place that harms him, keep this up, You will then have some lightning shoot after the 2nd time, run just one distance away from the edge of the screen ( so the tornado doesnt get two shots on you )whichever closer to avoid it. Now if you keep this up for three times, the tornado will shoot around 5, just stay close to him to avoid them. then run away , say to the left, and he will land one place, run to that spot and keep on shooting. I just developed this strategy, and woudl you believe it, a Mouse.. a mouse was causing all of that - thats got you wanting to play even more to see if im telling the truth! --John

Trolling

Someone (looged out at the time) did tons of trolling on this page. I fixed it now, but a list of what they did can be found here. --VolatileChemical 01:30, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

Go report it at HRWiki:WikiTroll --phlip 01:46, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

Yes, of course. Thank you. --VolatileChemical 01:48, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

Looooooong Fall

The reason there is a looooooooong fall on level 2.2 is that you keep climbing up and up yet brody is on the kitchen floor. This won't work in level 6, provided with the fact all clouds look the same, not like the kitchen counters.-Amy Whifflepoof

Magic Pockets?

Did anybody else think that the level 6 boss was reminiscent of the game Magic Pockets? The boss is a giant whirlwind that bounces and shoots bubbles from its top. In the first stage of Magic Pockets, the character attacks by throwing whirlwinds that bounce. If the fire button is held long enough, the whirlwinds are large and spit smaller whirlwinds from their tops. (There might be a powerup needed as well, I'll check up on it)

That sounds great, but the tornado reminds me of the mouse with sunglasses boss in super mario advance who throws bob-ombs at you. Um.. it's probably a Magic Pockets ref, though......

Quoting from the page "Liekand could be a reference to Super Mario Bros. 2 where the boss of the 4th level was a flame wearing sunglasses called "Fryguy", along with the fat mouse refering to the first boss, "Mouser". The bubble sprite used for Liekand's attack looks like the same sprite used for Wart's attack in Super Mario Bros. 2.". It seems like the character's drawing on multiple references already. Being a newbie, I'm unsure about the procedure for adding mine (there doesn't seem to be a Stinkoman 20X6 category on STUFF,for example).--Electric Monkey 21:42, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I'm not sure how I'd vote on it, but there IS a Stinkoman 20x6 section on STUFF - or, at least, there used to be if there isn't now. It's under "Games". If it doesn't exist, feel free to add it if you want to STUFF a fact. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 21:47, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Powercrunch?

I think we should change all the "Powercrunches" into "capsules". In the email, the red and white thing was a capsule, and the powercrunch was the tape. When 1-up takes Stinkoman's powercrunch in the game, it is also a tape. --No Smorking 16:01, 28 May 2005 (UTC)

I disagree, they're two different things, with two different usages, the capsule is for restoring health, and you can ask Joshua about what the power crunch does... --Dinoshaur 15:47, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I think that's what I was trying to say. The Enemies list and walkthroughs have the capsules listed as powersrunches. I think we should change those so they say capsules. --68.236.19.26 15:56, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I think you have a point. I don't believe that the capsules are ever called power crunches, but the tape definately is. Aurora the Homestar Coder 16:01, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Well, this has been up for two weeks, and no one seems against it, so I guess I'll just change them. --No Smorking 13:12, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Bread and Clowder?

When I beat level 3.1, (and this was normal, by the way) on level 3.2, I saw a clowder! I don't get it. Amy Whifflepoof

That's happened to me before too. It's just a simple glitch that happens if you exit the level RIGHT when a clowder is about to come on screen. --Darklinkskywalker 20:56, 9 Jul 2005 (UTC)

That's happened to me. It started when I was watching my brother play the game. My brother started playing 3.2, when a Mr. Ubbers fell down. We started to laugh. - oopsyoubwokeit

LEVEL 7

Level seven is freaking hard i can't even get passed 7.1.:(

  • Eh, the levels are kinda tough, but the boss is easy. -ironcladlou 15:40, 5 Jul 2005 (UTC)
We have a Forum for general discussions like this. Please use it instead. —FireBird|Talk 15:44, 5 Jul 2005 (UTC)
If you are having trouble not being froze to square, just keep on punching or jumping. Be patient with the retractable ladders.Rogue Leader / (my talk)
  • I'm with Ironcladlou. That boss was ridiculously easy and the level was of only slight difficulty at best. Save level 5, this game has been a cakewalk.
  • Wow...My brother could go well with you, umm..no Name. He hasn't beaten level 5 yet and the Level 7 Boss: He doesn't have a clue of how to beat him. Well, maybe execpt for the fact that you have to punch when you're on the platform so he glows red. He thinks those levels are hardest. - oopsyoubwokeit

What's a URL

What's a URL?

Wikipedia knows. —FireBird|Talk 15:44, 5 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Links to game files

Does anyone know the links to all the files so I can download them to my computer?

Yes, we do! --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif, 19:25, 5 July 2005 (BST)

Controls?

Should we add a controls section in the article ? --Pertmywert| 23:25, 9 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Nah, the game already has a section on it, and it displays them at the first level. Rogue Leader

I need da music...

The Music is cool, right? But anybody haves like, te REAL music files, not some weird remixes? I can't just record it, I need a higher quality microphone. Please reply maybe!!! --Gooblies 14:37, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

You know we have a forum, right? ... sorry, I had to. All the music is there. --phlip TC 14:53, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Seek Bar?

What's a seek bar? How do you activate it? --Gooblies 15:09, 12 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I'm glad someone's asks this already. I want to know, too. --oopsyoubwokeit 19:43, 12 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Arg! Someone tell me what a seek bar is! --Gooblies 15:45, 13 Jul 2005 (UTC)

A seek bar is a useful piece of JavaScript designed to help you be able to control Flash in browsers. I think there's a link to some seek bars on the StrongBadZone page. You just add 'em to your favourites, click on the icon in favourites, and pause, rewind, fast forward or play to any part of the movie you wish. --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif, 16:54, 13 July 2005 (BST)

The Mod

I am surprised nobody's done this yet, I am making a mod for the game. It is called "Stickly Man Adventures." The only thing is, I can't get it to work after I export it, even though I have the object library in the same file and all that. It'll continuously repeat the loading phrase. Any ideas on how to fix this? I can send the "fla" file if you email me your email address at sportyman27@hotmail.com or sportyman27@excite.com, I can't send you the swf decompiler, because it is too big to email.(Note you'll need flash mx 2004)-Quinn

Is it an exe? I cannot run exe files on a Mac. If not, I would like to try. --Darklinkskywalker 20:23, 9 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Nope, it's a .fla/.swf file. -Quinn 22:28, 19 Jul 2005 (UTC)

T-riffic. But if i'm gonna help, then I'll be needing something. To the flash decopiler mart! AWAY!! —Darklinkskywalker|Talk_|i did this stuff_ 15:10, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Man, this is hard!

Holy Crap! This game is so hard (to me) it blows my mind! Tough jumps, no checkpoints, the works! I can't even beat level 1.2! Arrrrgh! ...Whew. Glad I got that outta my system. On a lighter note, this is a great game, if not a bit hard. -acekirby13

  • Don't feel bad, AceKirby. I can't even get past level 1.1! Fizz123
    • Whew, that makes me feel better man. I needed some serious clown care there for a second. But I did end up beating the game, which was great. --acekirby13 20:00, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
  • It's not as hard as you think. I suck garbage (expletive deleted) at video games, but I can do levels 1.1-3.3 jut fine. 4.1 I can't get past, but i'm getting closer.
    • Dear whoever, this was written mighty long ago, and I have since then beaten levels 1.1-5.1. I just can't beat level 5.2 now! I want to fight Nebulon! ARRRRRRRGHBLBLBLBL!!! --acekirby13|My Talk 20:26, 10 May 2005 (UTC)

Dude, I can defeat Nebulon like cake, man. I wrote the walkthroughs for level 5 (except for the cutscenes, boss and part of level 5.2) I still can't get past anything on level 4 because if I press a button too long it gets stuck in running position. Amy Whifflepoof

Whoa- you missed my point. I haven't even fought Nebulon. I can't get by the point where there is like 4 Downtants in a row. They always deplete my health fast! --acekirby13|My Talk 23:48, 16 May 2005 (UTC)

Okay, I just want to start with, HELLO! This is a stinkon' easy game when you practice, by learning timing from experience or taking altrnative routes. (these will help on level 6. It took me a while until I beat the mouse.)-Amy Whifflepoof, not signed in. By the way acekirby(whoever you are). I can beat 5.2 easily. All you have to do is stand on the edge and make sure NOTHING is under one foot. Then, to avoid Downtant fire, simply jump. Actually, the truth is, I can beat it easily because my lappy is extremely slow and old. Maestro.

Why would you want to fight Nebulon? Nobody likes his style. -Neverending Soda

I hope you finally got there acekirby, because that cloud level is WAY harder! Kvb 12:35, 5 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Yes, yes, I've gotten there. I haven't been on the Wiki in quite some time. Currently, I've beaten all the levels, with practice. The cloud level, I thought, was easier. The only real hard thing was the boss, and I ended up beating that. Can't wait for new levels to get frustrated by! --acekirby13|My Talk 00:53, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I want to fight Nebulon! ARRRRRRRGHBLBLBLBL!!! - acekirby13

Me and brother understand you. 5.2 is the hardest level he hasn't beaten. That is the suckiest. --oopsyoubwokeit 13:22, 1 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I am still the Stinkomaster, but it took me several tries to beat Ekersby. I finally understood it after several tries and also I won on a library compy. (My compy skips, so I always run into Old Sages.) Amy Whifflepoof

Woah. I saw it with my own eyes, man. Y'see I made a custom level, put it with level five stuff, then finished 5.1 and 5.2. He's awesome. He shoots orange balls out of his eyes, crawls back and forth, so on. Try it yourself. - oopsyoubwokeit

Im just sent an e-mail to see if a walkthourgh would get me blocked. If not expect it soon. tenaciousdude66

NEBULON IS TOO HARD!

I've beaten every level except for 5.3! I can only hit Nebulon up to six times, then it starts getting hard! Even The Liekand and An Ice Machine is easier! --Gooblies 14:46, 14 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Keep trying! --—Darklinkskywalker|Talk_|i did this stuff_

Well, i got it. --Gooblies 00:55, 3 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Object library

I don't believe that the PUSH stove has been used in level seven. I don't recall that snowflake either (or maybe I do, it might be something else that I'm thinking of). What's with the purple arrow things? Alot of the stuff in the Object Library doesn't seem to be used in the game. --—Darklinkskywalker|Talk_|i did this stuff_ 03:44, 26 Jul 2005 (UTC)

The purple arrow things are part of the Stinkoman level editor that TBC use, of which remnants remain in the stinkogame.swf on the site (but can't be accessed as vital parts seem to be missing). When the level editor is active, moving platforms and the like stay still and the arrows show where they will move to. --phlip TC 16:33, 4 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Level -0.2 inaccessible?

Alright, I've beaten the unnamed boss on level -0.3 (8.3), but when the game restarts level -0.2 isn't available for selection in the level select menu. Does anyone else have this glitch? --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif, 15:20, 1 August 2005 (BST)

    • Probably. It fixed itself shortly after I posted this anyway, so I should probably remove this section. --videlectrix.pngENUSY discussionitem_icon.gif user.gifmail_icon.gif, 15:28, 1 August 2005 (BST)

Yet another easy level...
