:The reason I removed it was because the head of Stlunko is pretty generic to me. ::::I was currently offline when you answered. Well, I thought about this last night and realised that most of the "references" on this article contain words such as "looks similar" and "may be a reference", but with no actual proof that TBC were even thinking of that game/boss ect. And yes, I acknowledge that there is does seem to be some similarity between Stlunko and the Cylons. However, I'm not the only one who doesn't think there's a direct reference here; Sam the Man [http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php?title=Stinkoman_20X6_Real-World_References&diff=next&oldid=479849 removed the same fact], claiming that it was [[TTATOT#T|This, That and The Other Thing]]. According to the glossary, this rule is "''applicable when a reference in a toon could refer to one of many similar things. The rule of thumb is that if it could apply to several things, it probably refers to nothing in particular.''" This is the reason why I reverted your edit. At the very least, it could just be a coincidence. {{User:The Chort/sig}} 17:54, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Greggo and Chorch both have mouths similar to Stlunko's, as so many of the robots from Futurama. Besides, it's unlikey that it's a reference to Battlestar Galactica since it doesn't fit into the theme of video games or Japanese references. ==Pulseman Refrence?==
 +
Is it just me, or does Stlunko reminds me of the Sega Genesis game Pulseman's last boss. The last boss of that game was the main antagonist as a giant polygonal version of his head aided by two floating polygonal hands. As I remember, the head did nothing, while the hands attacked. I think the game was only released in Japan.

Calling [[:file:stinkogame-enemy-lundsford.png|Lundsford]] a reference to [https://web.archive.org/web/20050601022627/http://www.georgianaturalgas.com/ the symbol and/or mascot of Georgia Natural Gas] feels like quite a stretch to me. They are both blue flames, yes, but that is just what a natural gas flame looks like. The shades of blue are totally different, and Lundsford is a {{wp|gas stove}} while the symbol and mascot are not. The shape of the mascot's flame is somewhat similar, but it's simply a generic "flame" shape and without the distinctive face I see no connection. --{{User:Bleu Ninja/sig}} 22:03, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

:I agree. The fact that the symbol is seen on billboards around the Brothers Chaps' area (according to the article) gives it some credence, but the connection still feels like speculation, and probably not worth noting. {{User:Gfdgsgxgzgdrc/sig‎}} 23:47, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
