Ding! Strong Bad's Message Bored is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

[edit] Spam on this poor page

For some reason, this page seems to be in some dude's spam database. See [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8], [9], and [10]. I'd imagine that the IPs are all spoofed (WHOIS:[11], [12], [13], [14], [15], [16], [17], [18], [19], and [20].) Any ideas? -- Tom 13:58, 23 Feb 2005 (MST)

I think you should try protecting the page for a few days and see if that helps. I know, this would prevent most people from editing the page, but it never really gets edited anyway (looking at the edit history, it has only had two good edits this month), so I don't think it will be that big of a deal. Kilroy/talk[[]] 15:50, 23 Feb 2005 (MST)

You could probably just protect this page indefinitely. There's nothing really for anyone to add to this page. But then again, whoever's doing this could just switch to trolling a page that needs constant updating that wouldn't be able to be protected... meh... →evin290 16:40, 23 Feb 2005 (MST)

See, that's my problem though. I don't like protecting pages like this. And evin290's right, they could do it to any page.
There's talk of how MediaWiki 1.4 will add a "nofollow" attribute to external links. I don't know if I like that idea either, but I don't think it will be much of a deterrent. -- Tom 09:39, 24 Feb 2005 (MST)
Considering that they're now hitting us like mad, it might be a good idea to close it anyway. Whenever there's a problem over at Wikipedia that is similar to this, it gets closed temporarily... --Shadow Hog 12:04, 24 Feb 2005 (MST)
Okay, forget "might". Please, for the love of all that is whatever, this must be stopped. If that last flood is any indication, they're only going to get worse from here on out. --Shadow Hog 16:24, 7 Mar 2005 (MST)
Heh. The trollers have gotten one step smarter. But something does need to be done- this is ridiculous. →[[User:FireBird|FireBird]]
I agree with evin290. Protecting this page would be entirely useless. Any serious troller would just move on. Besides, it's better to have a secondary page like this being attacked than one of the main pages. --Joshua 16:44, 7 Mar 2005 (MST)

[edit] tandy and invisibility twice

Do we really need just ask the "tandy", which is again a reference to invisibility twice?--H*bad 23:10, 21 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] One Question

Will they be, you know, making a new message board? RocketMasterZ 19:21, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

I think probably not. Of course, you never know, like what they did with Kid Speedy, but since they haven't done anything for three years, it seems they've abandoned the idea of having a message board. – The Chort 19:35, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 2 Strong Bads in 1 Game!

Listen here, dudes n' dudettes, I found out that when you move fast sideways on Armless Invaders, there are 2 Strong Bads! You should try it! -Viklas
