Talk:Strong Bad and The Cheat's Relationship

From Homestar Runner Wiki

The Cheat helps Homestar judge the Pumpkin Carve-nival, but it is later revealed Homestar was played by Strong Bad in the toon. Would this go under "Strong Bad and The Cheat Working Together" or "The Cheat Working or Hanging Out with Someone Else?" Bad Bad Guy 18:36, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Does the easter egg in the sbemail time capsule count for this page? Strong Bad records over The Cheat's The Cheatcakes jingle for his "number one jam". 66.181.151.66 22:24, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Cheatware

Does Strongbad having some of The Cheats Cheatware count as SB & the Cheat working together? Cyberdemon 07:57, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

"The Cheat working or hanging out with other people"

Really? I mean, why do we have this section? So from what I understand, if The Cheat hangs out with somebody else, he's betraying Strong Bad. Am I wrong? Because this seems to be the case. --Kingdom Stars 04:03, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

I think that that section is unneeded. Maybe like, two of those things could go under "The Cheat betraying Strong Bad", but the rest shows no interaction between The Cheat and Strong Bad. So The Cheat has more friends. How is Strong Bad affected? StrongAwesome 12:25, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
I disagree. As Strong Bad's henchman, it's an interesting thing to note that he doesn't ALWAYS spend his time henchmanning. — Defender1031*Talk 12:32, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
It isn't too interesting for me, and besides, this is an article on the relationship of Strong Bad and The Cheat. Does that section show anything between them? No. --Kingdom Stars 12:38, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
I agree. It would be like, on the Strong Bad/Strong Sad relationship page, we gave examples of Strong Bad being mean to people other than Strong Sad. The point of this page is only to show interaction between SB and TC. The only "hanging out with other people" that is relevant is when it has a direct effect on SB. And we already have another section on that. --Branewashed 12:53, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
You're all missing the point. TC being henchman to someone other than strong bad IS notable for a relationship of evil mastermind and trusted henchman. — Defender1031*Talk 12:55, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
In which case, it should be put in the "The Cheat betraying Strong Bad" section. I just don't see how playing board games with Strong Sad is contrary to his role as Strong Bad's henchman. --Branewashed 13:02, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Wow, by what logic does The Cheat working with someone else mean that he's betraying Strong Bad? Yes, it's unusual since SB and TC are always seen together, but they're not fused at the hip. --Stux 15:58, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
So, because he relates to Strong Bad on a professional level means he is not allowed to associate with others? Honestly, it reflects little on the two's relationships. The entire section is rather useless. Maybe in cases where Strong Bd reacts to this could count, but then again that would be him betraying Strong Bad, another already existing section.--Jellote wuz here 17:19, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure all the appearances in that section are notable, but I think certain ones are, namely those that involve him being with characters Strong Bad hates such as Strong Sad and Marzipan. The Cheat is supposed to be Strong Bad's henchman, and yet he's apparently willing on occasion to collaborate with several anti-Strong Bad characters. Having said that, the entries like eating fries with Bubs or making a video with Coach Z strike me as not being too interesting. Heimstern Läufer 23:30, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
