[edit] Overlap

Hm—this'll overlap somewhat with Strong Bad Hurting Strong Sad. Perhaps something should be worked out between the two pages? —AbdiViklas 20:22, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

I thought of that. The main problem with Strong Bad Hurting Strong Sad is that it only refers to Strong Bad vs. his brother, but it doesn't take into account cases where other characters (particularly Coach Z) believe Strong Sad to be dead. It was mainly because of Coach Z's comment in impression that I decided this was a separate running gag. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 20:31, 28 December 2005 (UTC)
How about a link on both pages? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 07:50, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
Done. :) — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 17:03, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Merge?

This page have content, but merging it with Death will do better to both articles. This will abolish the "See Also" section. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:11, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

Merging them is probably the best thing to do. I don't see why not. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 20:16, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
I'm not entirely sure; this page contains a lot of things that simply mention or obliquely allude to SS's death (e.g. "It's as if SS were alive and w/ us today!"); they'd be a little to insubstantial for Death. —AbdiViklas 20:19, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
I was thinking about a full section there, seeing he is the character with the most mentions of death. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:23, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Edit conflict: I think we're talking about separate things in each article, though I suppose if you made Strong Sad's Death a separate section of the main Death page, it would work. Reason being that the Death article talks about characters who actually die or have death-like effects and experiences, vs. Strong Sad, who in each case is NOT dead (and often vehemently denies being dead). Similar ideas, but different overall effects. If you do merge the articles, I'd suggest renaming this section to "Strong Sad's Supposed Death" or something similar. — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 20:26, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
EDIT CONFLICT: And this is from the Death page: "In Where's The Cheat?, Strong Bad calls Marzipan and pretends to be Homestar Runner, and he tells her that he shot and killed Pom Pom." Which allude to Pom Pom's untimely departure. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:30, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
After conflict: I have no problem with that idea. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:30, 3 January 2006 (UTC)
Done and done. Articles merged, redirect happening from this one to Death, and everyone should be happy. :) — Image:kskunk_fstandby.gif KieferSkunk (talk) — 01:25, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
This didn't ever get merged and doesn't redirect. I think this needs attention. —NFITC1talk 15:33, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Scope

I agree with the invisocomment that Defender made about the page, but since it's confusing, I'm wondering why it must be inviso. In other words, the intro states the scope, but I think it should go even further to make that scope explicit. Also, I think the name could use a tweak. In fact, didn't this article used to be "SS's Imagined Death" or something like that? -128.103.10.135 00:32, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Undead?

What if he really did die and is like, a ghost or something?

If he indeed did die and is like, a ghost or something—well, whether or not he did—then he would like for you to bring up the topic in the forum. The Knights Who Say Ni 23:07, 26 April 2011 (UTC)

[edit] You killed my brother!

This example from virus was recently added, and while I lean toward agreeing with it, I wanted to mention here that the only issue is that Strong Bad has two brothers. While Strong Sad is the one usually doing the dying/being killed, Strong Mad is the one whose death would perturb him. Then again, he was just flustered over the death of his compy anyway. The point is, I wanted to put it out here that agree with the addition, but would understand the opinion that doesn't, and make it clear that I would not be in favor of removing it. — Defender1031*Talk 17:08, 24 January 2015 (UTC)

Well, remember that Strong Bad has an unusually close connection to his crappy computers, so it would make sense if he considered his Compy to be his "brother" as if he was a close relative or family member. The example has NO connection to Strong Sad in the slightest, so I am completely against its addition. — Catjaz63 02:32, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
