Besides guitar? I think it's popped up in several places... --DorianGray
Isn't it listed as one of the Strong Bad quotes on the Downloads page? -Marth 99 18:33, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
yeah, but what? if it has, we should list it with guitar in the inside references. Seriously 18:34, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
The origin is "guitar". Even if it comes from somewhere else, it appeared in "guitar" first. --DorianGray

Guitar Hero

I used a boneheaded Edit Summary, let me say something here. If "Guitar Hero" is shown to include this song, then we can add the fact. But as 1) it's highly unlikely Trogdor would be included amidst other well-established rock songs and 2) I can't seem to find mention of this on the Internet aside from chat room wishes, I removed it. If you can cite a source, add it back. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 09:10, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

I played Guitar Hero 2 at a friend's house last night, they had an advanced release version. It is included in a bonus track section. Trogdor (specifically the Limozeen version) is in Guitar Hero 2.
Here's proof of the song being in at least a prerelease copy of Guitar Hero 2, from a thread on the official GH2 forums: link to image
I'm afraid that your forum is not an official source. And there's no such thing as a "Limozeen version" of Trogdor. --Jay (Talk) 01:09, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Official source or not, it looks like Wikipedia is all for it; and you know how picky THEY are about verifiability... --Shadow Hog 02:09, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes, sure. Wikipedia has never ever had any false information. But honestly, can't you guys wait for a few days until the game is actually released and we get official proof? Loafing 02:44, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
According to Wikipedia, "While the bonus tracks have not been revealed to date by Red Octane or Harmonix, the following list of bonus songs was revealed from a Guitar Hero forum post on October 24, 2006 based on screen shots from a game kiosk running the full version of Guitar Hero 2." It's not official information. Additionally, the Wikipedia page is headed with a "likely to contain information of a speculative nature" proviso. Thus, I don't believe it's prudent at this time to include this information as if it were fact when even Wikipedia does not claim it to be verified. Therefore, I am going to revert this information. If this eventually bears out to be true, these edits can easily be restored. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 23:06, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
If this is true, wouldn't it go under Game Sightings anyway? - link_icon.gifThe Joe(Talk) 23:31, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
If this turns out to be true, I would think this is more than just a Game Sighting, as clearly TBC would have licensed use of the song. I'd say it would belong there as well as here. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 23:34, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
I wouldn't think that the licensed use of the song would be a sighting. It should really only go on this article. This is kinda a new thing for TBC and the wiki, I think. Loafing 23:47, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
I think, personally, if it is real we should wait until the game is OUT. Then we should just make a page of it's own "Trogdor in Guitar Hero II" or something with information about it and maybe a screen cap from the game or something and a link to the article on Wikipedia.--Image:Stinkwing.gif »Bleed0range« 23:55, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

I added it, because i think 4 reputable sources are quite enough. 24.164.134.249 14:09, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Of those four sources, 3 all cite that same forum post that above has been referred to as unofficial. The fourth doesn't cite any source at all, and is on a site where anyone can post anything... though they probably heard it (directly or indirectly) from that same forum post. I'm not saying that it's probably false, it's probably true that it's in there. I just agree with Qermaq that it'd be prudent to wait until the game is actually released and it can be independently confirmed before including the information here. All we have to base this on is a post on a forum on the Internet, and a flurry of websites quoting that post. If there was even a second primary source, someone else who's played this preview version and can confirm that Trogdor is there, I'd probably reconsider putting it on the page. --phlip TC 16:59, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
Uh, I'm not a member, amd I don't know if this is like, against the rules, but here is a video of Trogdor being played (apparently, there's a patch out). Don't hurt me, please.Video of Trogdor
Don't be silly, how can we hurt you? Anyway, the clip makes me want to believe, but as he's selecting a tune called "Madhouse" I cannot, just yet. It is compelling evidence, yes, but not conclusive evidence. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 06:16, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
