Is there a better picture of the current The Cheat that could be used? The picture there now shows The Cheat in a different pose than the other pictures.

Replaced some of the images so they're all in the same pose. Poopsmith Z

Missing Stage

There is a stage between the 2000 and current models of The Cheat. It had a little bit of shading on it, more than the 2000 one but less than the current one. See A Mother's Day message.

Likewise, this "partial shading" style is also seen on the The Cheat t-shirt and static cling in the store. —Shawn81 07:45, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

New style?

Totally... New The Cheat?
What about 3D The Cheat? —Supuhstar* Image:Supuhstar(SupuhSmall).gif 18:13, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
Those don't count because they aren't replacing TC with that variation. Its just that...a variation. DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 18:21, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
OK. —Supuhstar* Image:Supuhstar(SupuhSmall).gif 19:49, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Real new style?

Open both these images in different windows or tabs and look at the differences. New The Cheat? If so, since when and why haven't we noticed it? DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 22:20, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

That's just different shadowing... — Defender1031*Talk 22:35, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Didn't we accept different shading as a design change for the sixth and “current” The Cheats? Also, I've noticed changes in his outline, eyes, tuft of fur and spots on his ulterior scipula. DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 16:50, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
you can't expect a cartoonist to draw something EXACTLY the same every time, and i said "shadowing" not "shading" as in, the light is different. — Defender1031*Talk 22:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Real new style, part 2

DEIDATVM's image links above are broken so I don't know what design he was referring to, but looking to your right, experience the fury of The Cheat's design in Kick-A-Ball. His shading is smoother and more orange-y, and his spots and outline seem to be touched up in places. I'm not sure which toon it appeared in first, but I would argue for it being a new design, if a subtle one. Lira (talk) 02:03, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
