In the recent Trogday cartoon, Strong Bad refers to this dragon as "The S is for Sucks ''dragon''." Should we do a page move? {{User:GuardDuck/sig}} 23:39, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Okay, given the new Trogday 08 toon, I'm just going to move the page.  I think we can agree that TBC refered to it as "The S is fo Sucks Dragon", so the move's obvious.--{{User:DongleGoblin/sig}} 00:36, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Ding! The S is for Sucks Dragon is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

[edit] Title

Shouldn't we call it The S is for Sucks Dragon rather than just The S is for Sucks? I'm sure people agree it makes more sense, although it doesn't really matter. »ßenit, known as señor« 21:45, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)

It is in the KOT mainpage, so I am adding it. Rogue Leader / (my talk)
Nowhere on the wiki (except for one talk post) do we call this guy a dragon. He's not a dragon. That's why Strong Bad had to start over. I'm changing the name back. — It's dot com 22:21, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC) EDIT: On the King of Town Main Page, he's referred to once as "The S is for Sucks version of Trogdor," but never specifically as a dragon. — It's dot com
How about The S is for Sucks guy or man or character? Not having a label distingushing the character from the phrase is unclear & confusing to me. single deuce 22:55, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)
I dunno. I kinda like the name the way it is. — It's dot com 23:02, 22 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Although I think he is, in fact, a dragon, albeit a poorly drawn one, I agree about keeping his name the way it is. It's more succinct. Trelawney

I suggest we reopen this topic for discussion. In Trogday 08, Strong Bad calls him "The S is for Sucks dragon!!" OptimisticFool 16:56, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
I don't think there's even any need for disscussion anymore. TBC called it "The S is for Sucks Dragon", so that's its name.-- DongleGoblin 18:35, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

In the recent Trogday cartoon, Strong Bad refers to this dragon as "The S is for Sucks dragon." Should we do a page move? —Guard Duck talk 23:39, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Okay, given the new Trogday 08 toon, I'm just going to move the page. I think we can agree that TBC refered to it as "The S is fo Sucks Dragon", so the move's obvious.-- DongleGoblin 00:36, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Inside Joke?

Um...just a thought. Is "The S is for Sucks" really an inside joke? I've only seen it used once after its debut. Brightstar Shiner 20:05, 18 October 2005 (UTC)

Definately not. I've seen it twice. On dragon, and on the KOT main page. If it's shown twice, it is not an inside joke. — talk Bubsty edits 16:48, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
How about being shown thrice?-- DongleGoblin 18:35, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Do we Really Need This Page?

I could understand "The S is for Sucks dragon," but not a whole page based on a joke that's only used once or twice. --Super Martyo Brother 21:56, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

- Are you kidding? Useless pages for one-shot gags are the foundation of HRWiki

See, you wait long enough, and then Trogday 08 happens and you have no reason not to keep the page. :) BazookaJoe 16:15, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Perhaps a more General Page Would Do

Since I created the Beefy Arms page (in need of desperate help, by the way), I think we could merge these two into a more general, Trogdor-related page. Trogdor Running Gags, perhaps? Or would that not work? · · T2|Things 00:30, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Strong Bad's preference

Should we add something about how Strong Bad apparently prefers this one to Trogdor (as seen in Trogday 08)? 71.212.91.220 05:12, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] V's

What is the difference between "constabulate V's" and "consummate V's"?

One is called "constabulate" by strong bad and the other is called "consummate" by strong bad. (Meaning, neither actually exists, strong bad just made both up.) — Defender1031*Talk 17:00, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Neither exists? Strongbad made them both up? I strongly doubt that. Constabulate means of or pertaining to the constabulary (primarily british police), which makes little sense, but consumnate means 'perfect in form', which is a worthy explanation of trogdor's teeth and spinities.
