Leetspeak?

Do you think that Kevin's usage of the word "leet" is a reference to "leet-speak"? More likely he meant Mr. Bad is an Elite Hacker since Leet is short for the word Elite. I want to know what some of you think before changing it.      --Whaddaya Know Haddi-man? 16:41, 26 Jan 2005 (MST)

  • And where do you think "Leet" is commonly used? I don't think I've EVER seen it spelled out as "Leet" except in reference to leet-speak. --Jay 16:52, 26 Jan 2005 (MST)

You have a point there. I re-read the wikipedia article on Leet and the current referrence looks like it fits ok.  :) --Whaddaya Know Haddi-man? 13:08, 27 Jan 2005 (MST)

Moving this page

I just moved this page to remove the superfluous "TBC" from the title (if it were an AC/DC interview, we might include it in the title, but TBC seems implied). However, I'm wondering about the "G4techTV" bit. Shouldn't this be "Screen Savers" instead? It seems the extra specificity is warranted, since they've appeared on other shows on the network in the past. Anybody? — InterruptorJones[[]] 14:02, 9 Feb 2005 (MST)

Yeah, I had noticed that when I added the links to the Links page. I think adding "Screen Savers" and "Pulse" to the titles would work. -- Tom 16:53, 9 Feb 2005 (MST)
Note, now titled Screen Savers Interview - 24 Jan 2005. -- Tom 10:46, 23 Feb 2005 (MST)
Additional note: I've recreated the redirects to this page because I know of at least one external website that linked to the old page title. I believe since this redirect feature is available to us, we can relieve the burden of some other webmaster having to fix their link to us just because we changed the page title a few times. -- Tom 11:12, 23 Feb 2005 (MST)

Putty Knife

Does anyone understand the reference to a putty knife and being able to break open computers? If so, some should update the page under real-world references, I would imagine.

Why did you remove the VMW? --81.230.154.89 19:40, 26 Aug 2005 (UTC)
