in the easter egg with the eyeball pear, Coach Z says that he's not going to tell Homestar what he did in his pants. Is this a refernce to the fact that he doesn't wear pants?--ONESTOP 22:22, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

::If you're talking about the email shapeshifter, I think that's only gonna happen once and never again. I could be wrong though. Also look at the page for Coach Z and find the picture of his butt. Either he weras really tight pants or he's naked. :::Or his butt is green. At any rate, there's too much confusion over the issue of Coach Z's pants, clearly, to have anything to his presence or lack of pants. 22:38, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Is it worth mentioning in the triva section, or as an addendum to the note in the Inside References section, that avocods are a real fruit, dispite the popular misconception that avocados are a vegetable? TrueTsumetai 03:19, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

-
:Because avocados aren't actually referred to as vegetables in the toon, I'd say no. 03:38, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

-
::The point being: despite the peculiarity of the ingredients, it <i>is</i> a <u>real</u> fruit smoothie, a fact which most people wouldn't realize. 06:06, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

"Let the little childrens go home"
-

-
I recently edited Senor Cardgage's line in the song "Let the little childrens go" to "Let the little childrens go home", which is what I thought it was. It was quickly reverted. I've re-listened to the line several times since then, and he clearly says "Let the little childrens go home". I would edit it back in, but I don't want an edit war. So, what're your opinions? --BubbleRevolution

-
:I don't hear "home." I just hear "go." there's no other syllable besides "go" in that sentence. 19:25, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

-
::It's possible he's saying "Go-oh" in two syllables, but I definitely hear a second syllable.

-
:::I kind of hear "Grow" actually... 19:43, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

-
::::He might be singing "gome" or, to rhyme with "splode", "goad" (consider the singer), but there's pretty clearly only the one syllable. -- 20:07, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

-
:::::I've always distinctly heard "Let the little childrens know." 23:49, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

-
::::::I've always heard "roam." But I don't really see what we're getting done, with all our differing opinions. Perhaps we should add an {indecipherable} tag on that part? 02:32, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

-
:::::::I have also always heard "know". And it makes sense if you combine his line with the line that comes immediately after it: "Let the little childrens know, I hope they don't asplode."

Flipping off rainbows
-

-
OK, I'm going to start this myself. I can't see how Strong Bad is possibly not referring to the giving the finger when he talks about flipping off rainbows in his email intro. It's completely in his character to do so. One user said Strong Bad would only do so if given a reason; I couldn't disagree more. What possible justification could SB have had for flipping off the sender of the bird, or for that matter any of the other times he's given the double deuce? It's entirely consistent with his character to do so for any and every reason.

-
As a side note, facts like this that have been on the page for a long time shouldn't be unceremoniously removed without a hearing as happened here. 01:54, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

-
:I second this. What else could he mean by that, anyway?

-
::Some think it means like, doing backflips off of rainbows. (Though to me, that only would sound right if he said he was "flipping off of rainbows".) 02:13, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

-
:::But shouldn't it mean like backflipping of rainbows since he also said he was walking on clouds.-- 03:06, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

-
::::I always thought it was the backflip kind of flipping ever since the first time I ever saw it. I never put the double deuce type of flipping to it until someone else suggested it many months and years later. (I also concur with Record307. Backflip-type flipping goes much better with walking than double deuce-type flipping.) But, due to the similarity, there's no real way to tell either way. --DorianGray 05:57, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

-
:::::I think that your are both right. Strong Bad plays on the double meaning of "flipping off". If any other character said it, I'd agree that it was meant to be actual flipping. But there is no way Strong Bad would have used the phrase without knowing it can mean something else - Something more vulgar. 06:19, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

-
::::::That's pretty much my reasoning. Or, to take it from an out-of-universe perspective: Even if TBC originally meant it to mean backflips, I cannot believe Matt could have sung it without realizing and being conscious of the other meaning. Incidentally, it may be that Strong Bad was doing both actions, possibly at the same time. (Possible fanart: Strong Bad giving the double deuce to a rainbow whilst doing a backflip off of it?) 06:25, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

-
:::::::Speaking of both actions - While watching the toon I thought that maybe, while walking on clouds, he couldn't care less about rainbows, so he gives them the bird to show it. (If any of you need a visualization) 06:30, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

-
::::::::Supporting my last statement, Did any others think he meant back-flipping the first time they watched the toon?-- 06:43, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

-
:::::::::For the record, I had the exact opposite experience as DorianGray. When I first saw it, I thought, "Heh, Strong Bad gives the finger to rainbows" and never thought of it meaning backflips until someone removed that fact a while ago. 06:48, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

Liquify button
Recently, there was an edit about the "Liquify button", referring to Photoshop, but it was dismissed as referring to the blender button. I think, however, this is a dual reference worthy of being put in the explanations. The background is going through "Liquify", as in the photoshop function, but the cause of it is a blender, also capable of "liquifying". Not one to start edit wars, I believe we should discuss this.--Jellote wuz here 01:20, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

-
:Yes, I think we should. I'll start off by saying that it could be just references. Every knows that all blenders have a liquify button. But only PhotoShop users and Digital Artists will get the reference. I would say no.-- 01:54, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

-
::In addition, that doesn't look enough like the liquefy effect in Photoshop. I would have said that earlier in an edit summary, but Jay beat me to the reversion. 02:16, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
