Lure...?
I couldn't help thinking that maybe the Fangly Fish's lure should have been something that attracts other fish... Not scares them away.

Civil Rights Speech?
- I believe the line "It is a time of desolation, chaos and uncertainty. Brother pitted against brother; babies havin' babies." comes from a famous speech made by someone during the Civil Rights movement, but I don't remember the exact one. Does anyone know?
- It reminds me of Ghostbusters ... "Dogs and cats living together..."

Well, I feel like it should be STUFF'D at least for being phrased as a question. Maybe I'll do that in a moment. In addition, I know that those phrases are famous, but I'm not sure they were used collectively in any speech. I think they may just be clichès of hard times. - Yeah, I certainly couldn't find anything regarding the Civil Rights movement that involved this quote. I've removed it from the page. I also didn't like how it read "might possibly have come from a famous speech...but not for certain." I hate to be cynical, but after reading this wiki for a few weeks it seems like people are trying to make a reference out of every joke in Homestar. The line "It is a time of desolation, chaos and uncertainty. Brother pitted against brother; babies havin' babies" isn't in reference to anything, it's just silly. I mean, we live in a society, which means that we're constantly borrowing from what's already been done, but I think that it's being over-analyzed in cases like this. IT IS A REFERNCE, however to something different than what others might have said. This seems as a reference to "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, which describes a time of desolation with brother pitted against brother. The Babies havin' babies is just an extension of that.
- By that logic, it could be a reference to WAAAY too many things.
- I say we change it to "it's a common phrase for certain wars" and leave it at that, or drop it all together. We don't know what specifically it is a reference to, considering how broad it is, so why keep it? --Shadow Hog 20:03, 30 Nov 2004 (MST)

- This is the first email in which we are shown the subject line. Also, this is the first email to have all the functions of a real email program (reply button, forward button, subject display), except for weird dream.

Horns
- Not sure where to put this, but I noticed that one of the characteristics Strong Bad lists of his creature is "horns," but the picture shows antlers, which are completely different from horns.

This seems more like subjective rather than objective info. Besides, what about "Homsar"? I'm pretty sure he's taking that email mistake pretty far, making a regular character out of it and everything. Fun Facts Arguing With Each Other
We have fun facts here that refute other fun facts. This is very, very bad - a page is giving contradicting information to the viewer. I almost deleted the facts that are being refuted, but given that these facts are listed in STUFF, I'm not sure I'm allowed to do this (even though they have decline votes). Should anyone remove STUFFed fun facts, or only certain users? --Tim333
Dissing Strong Bad's Vocabulary
Who is dissing Strong Bad's vocabulary in these fun facts repeatedly? It seems condesending and somewhat stupid.
- Be darned if I know, but to whoever it is, please: stop. He doesn't have a limited vocabulary. He just has a habit of sometimes using words in the wrong way, often for the sake of humor. So please stop adding it in, we're tired of editing it out. --Shadow Hog 18:44, 7 Dec 2004 (MST)
Lappy Startup Noise
There's already been two mentions of the Lappy's startup noise in the Fun Facts section and I thought it would become even more convoluted if we continue to cotradict each other in an article (shouldn't that be moved to STUFF anyway, or at least here?), however I wanted to ask people's opinion on the possibility that the startup noise is a truncated version of the part of "Also Sprach Zarathustra" used in 2001: A Space Odyssey. Is that too much of a stretch?
