[edit] After The Paper Easter Egg?

I assume Strong Bad's last line should be classified as an Easter Egg, since it happens after the paper has come down? --Upsilon

My understanding was that it had to be a certain time after the Paper came down, and immediately after doesn't count. I could be mistaken, though. AK47x2 17:38, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] What about back??

The back button is on the right.. Lazylaces Talk 20:29, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps a tip of the hat to the English road system?

I doubt that. That makes no sense. It's probably just because Strong Bad is on the right there, and they didn't want to overlap him (perhaps because he moves at the end, and that might interfere with clickability). You'll notice it wouldn't fit in the gap between him and the border, either. --DorianGray 04:11, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ...and counting

at just forty seconds, is this the shortest sbemail? TheDude 02:55, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Nope, it's not, it's #22. --Stux 03:21, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Legend of Zelda? I doubt it.

I thought vaguely possible refrences were like a mortal sin. This one's a pretty big strech. "Grumble grumble" is a pretty generic phrase, and certainly not Zelda-specific.--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 20:29, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

I'm removing it.--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 03:55, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
I disagree, as it's said in that exact style, in addition, the email is called "i rule" and the land in which zelda takes place is called "hyrule". TBC are big nintendo fans and have made zelda-realted refs before. — Defender1031*Talk 10:00, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
I never thought of the "i rule = hyrule" thing before. I still think it's unlikely that it was intentional, but going on my intentional refrence vs. fun tidbit theory, I'm going to go ahead and vote for it. Sorry, since I'm the one who got it STUFFed to begin with.--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 07:51, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Closed STUFF

[edit] STUFF, Grumble Grumble

Strong Bad's intro may refer to the NES game The Legend of Zelda, in which the player cannot advance through certain parts of dungeons unless they feed a hungry Goriya, who greets the player with "Grumble grumble..."

[edit] Blinking The Cheat??

The Cheat is blinking in this email, sort of like Homestar! I've never noticed The Cheat blinking before.

[edit] Void in the sound

I can't hear Strong Bad say, "behind the dumpsters since, like, diaper school, man." The sound just cuts out after "I've totally ruled that field out" and cuts back in right before "Ah, my kingdom continues to flourish." This is happening on all the html, swf, and subtitles versions of the cartoon. Is this a known issue, and is anyone else having this problem? The Knights Who Say Ni 02:34, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Nope, it doesn't happen to me... what device are you using to listen to it? (Speakers, headphones, etc.) Tenerence Love  03:06, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
I just checked a different browser, and I didn't have a problem. Apparently there's a slight flash difference being used on the two browsers on this computer. I can check another browser on a different computer in a few minutes and return that browser's result. The Knights Who Say Ni 03:24, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Some browsers provide their own flash plugins such as "Google Chrome", so you don't have to keep updating adobe flash... Tenerence Love  03:28, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, Google Chrome was the one with the slightly more upgraded flash number, and it's the one with the problem. The Knights Who Say Ni 04:06, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
Information regarding the problem:
Google Chrome 18.0.1025.162 m; Flash Player 11.2.202.235 has the problem described in the first line of this talk thread.
Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702; Flash Player 11.1.102.62 does not have said problem.
Mozilla Firefox 3.6.28;                Flash Player 10.3.181.34 does not have said problem.
Hopefully this information can be used to diagnose and perhaps treat the problem. The Knights Who Say Ni 05:20, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
I just tested with chrome 16 and then upgraded to 20 (been needing to do that anyway) and it was fine in both. I could also downgrade to 18.0.1025.168 (debian's chrome stable), which would be closest to your version, but meh. — Defender1031*Talk 09:16, 6 May 2012 (UTC)
