This is probably a stupid thought, but since it doesn't actually ''say'' TROGDOR on the poster in Strong Mad's room, (it says PUBERTY) perhaps Strong Bad ripped off Trogdor from that dragon? Strong Mad

What should we call him? Young Strong Mad, as the transcript calls him, or Teen Strong Mad, as his article calls him? free 12:32, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

He seems to be very similar to his teenage variation, called Teenage Strong Mad, from highschool. Perhaps he's the same variation. – The Chort 13:49, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
However, the differences are subtle but important. I say we continue to call him Teen Strong Mad. OpenSourceGreg 15:47, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
I don't know, I think they are the same, and the differences can be accounted for by Strong Bad's "doodle" memory. 66.29.169.1 16:50, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Maybe it was meant to be the same version, but the small variations are just something the Chaps put in because it's newer. I even spotted some minor changes in young strong bad and strong sad's look, also. User:origonalname

Strong Bad annoys himself?

I listened to it a dozen times and while Strong Bad is drilling into the brick after talking about other imaginary friends it sounds like he says "Strong Bad and Scotty titi..." instead of "Strong Sad and Scotty titi...". Am I just crazy? —NFITC1talk 13:31, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Cosistency?

Perhaps Trogdor used to exist in Lil' Strong Bad's mind until dragon, during which he drew him onto paper (albiet requiring a second attempt). Many cartoonists think up ideas for new characters years before they actually drawn the initial concept sketches. – The Chort 13:49, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Didnt Strong Mad have a Trogdor poster in this email?

This is probably a stupid thought, but since it doesn't actually say TROGDOR on the poster in Strong Mad's room, (it says PUBERTY) perhaps Strong Bad ripped off Trogdor from that dragon? too much "we"

I noticed there are two sentences in the script which need rewording: "We pans down to Lil' Strong Bad"[/sic] and "We pan down again to reveal a piece of bread on a blue plate with two pickle slice". Would the correct form for those be "Pan down to (...)" or how should that be rephrased? Strong Sad being very content...

He seems to be smiling QUITE a lot in this flashback. Is that noteworthy for the "Strong Sad Smiling" article, since the "Secrets That I Keep" stuff is noteworthy?

Maybe the reason is because he has a friend. He never has any friends in the modern times, which could be why he's so depressed. User:origonalname

Old Field?

King Sad?

Is it just me, or do the bandages on Strong Sad's belly look like the ones on King Hippo (from Punch-Out!)? That Game Dude 386 22:32, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Both are examples of stereotypical cartoon bandages though, and we all remember how SS got his belly button... Strongkinghomsarsmith 22:37, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
True, and yet the location and styling seem too uncannily similar, and it wouldn't be the first Punch-Out reference... That Game Dude 386 23:37, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
It's clearly a reference to origins, and not necessarily a reference to King Hippo at all. I say stick with the reference we know over the reference we don't. --Jay (Talk) 23:50, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
That doesn't mean it couldn't be both at once, though. If it were just a reference to origins, it could easily have been a regular band-aid type bandage (like, tan with brown sides) rather than a cartoony, X-shaped white tape one. Just a thought. -132.183.138.174 16:31, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
I still think that it's not a reference to king hippo's bandage, but to bandages them selves. sure they didn't use a bandage, but do they have to? I say no reference. User:origonalname

Hey!

Strong Sad has Homsar as a friend, then again, Strong Bad hates Homsar almost as much as Strong Sad, so that's why Homsar wasn't mentioned as a friend.

E. mail?

I'm all for correct grammar and punctuation, but since we have used the spelling "email" everywhere else on the site, should we really start spelling it "E. mail?"--Rotanagol 18:18, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

No, that's not how we do it. I've reverted it, along with a few other things the annony did that aren't the way we do stuff here. free 18:22, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
"E. mail" is simply wrong, period. The proper spelling is "e-mail", with a hyphen, but that's clearly not how Strong Bad spells it, so we don't either. Also, the anonny who made those edits is a vandal we've seen before (he always tries to make words more awkwardly complex - "Interior References", which is a completely meaningless term, is his giveaway.) Unfortunately, he has a dynamic IP address and rarely makes more than two or three edits at a time, so it's hard to do much about it. Well, no, "e-mail" will never become as quaint as terms that, if they even ever existed at all, are older than the concept of e-mails. ;) Of course, there should be no question here, when Strong Bad himself consistently calls them "emails". But even if you think "e-mail" looks antiquated - I disagree - it's a far cry better than "E. mail", to say nothing of "game-play" or "wall-paper", which just look stu-pid. --Jay (Talk) 19:16, 15 July 2009 (UTC)

Email 200 was meant to be the last email. then they had Hremail 3184, which was some how a sbemail. Now they have a 202? Why do the chaps keep changing there minds?

(continued from my post in the previous thread) THIS, however, it speculation about TBC's motives and is unrelated to page content. Posts like these are better for the forum, not the other way around. — Defender1031*Talk 00:40, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
But since this thread is here anyway, it should be noted that it was heavily implied that TBC never seriously intended to stop sbemails after #200 (though they did end up taking an extended hiatus). -132.183.138.174 00:58, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

Wisconsin References?

This troper-- er, editor-- is from Wisconsin and I couldn't help but think "Deer. Steer. Beer." was a big reference to Wisconsin.

DEER -John Deere, a large part of the tractor business. -Very common wildlife.

STEER -Bovine; Wisconsin is known for them.

BEER -Wisconsin is known for this as well, being a very German state. It narrowly missed ending up as our state drink (losing to milk).

That sounds like too much of a stretch. There are plenty of places known for deer, cows, and alcohol.--66.29.169.1 15:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Actually, to me he did, but it was a quick thought as I abruptly noticed that he had no legs. The shape was a mound, kind of like homsar, the hat was similar, but not the same, so it's not just you, Scotty did have a small resemblance to Homsar. -AlfstarRunner
