Sock

Just in case some of you didn't know, Homestar has the sock on his head because of the lump Strong Sad has on his not-so-circular head. On Strong Sad's action figure, this looks very much like a sock. Just throwing it out there. SaltyTalk! 02:22, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Horly Crorp!

CoachZ says Holy Crap...

So? --Jay 22:55, 12 Mar 2005 (MST)
Uh, yeah, what's the big deal? -Walking Armless
He... says Holy Crap. Congratulations anonomyous, you... found the obvious! — talk Bubsty edits 05:18, 27 November 2005 (UTC)
I Think He Means That Coach Z Normally Says Something Along The Lines Of 'Horly Crorp'. Like when He Called The Cheat 'The Cheat' Instead Of 'Teh Chort' In The SB Email mascot. Image:Homsar-in-motion.gifHomsar7(Hom · Sar)Image:Homsar-in-motion.gif

This is odd.

After using a seek bar while the video was open, it showed that the afterparty was in a spot in the Flash file between the "loading" screen and the part where Strong Bad opens strongbad_email.exe. I could also hear Strong Bad for about a second during the transition from the afterparty to the end of the video. --Úħ¡ βøв 07:55, 12 Apr 2005 (MDT)

yeah i noticed that too...it was sort of weird. -- Tony Stony 21:02, 19 May 2005 (UTC)

Closed STUFF

What year is it? (accepted)

The form for the penmanship contest says 2004 Sectional Finals, however, the sign for the contest said 2003.

  • Decline. The email was made in 2003, at which time they were having the fourth annual Strong Sad lookalike contest. (Meaning they had been going on since 2000.) Strong Bad had already lost in 2003, so he was signing up to compete again in 2004. -Upset_Your_Balance
  • Accept There is nothing anywhere in the email to imply the above scenario. --Jay 07:12, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)
    • PS. In fact, looking over the transcript again, UYB's scenario is flat-out WRONG. SB says he already won the Penmanship Award (as in, it already happened), and lo and behold, the form that he's apparently using to "sign up for next year" already has a blue ribbon on it! --Jay 08:00, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)
      • Comment. Oh, I see... TBC forgot what year it was. That's a little... weird. -Upset_Your_Balance
        • Comment. I just watched it again and yes, Strong Bad apparently won the 2004 penmanship award in 2003 somehow. -Upset_Your_Balance
  • Accept It's a fine fact. Though I am confused why TBC did this... -acekirby13 18:31, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Gaggin' on a fun fact

I rewrote the Jhonka/High Five fun fact, because it had a grammatical error, and because as it was written, I didn't think it would really help someone who didn't understand the gag. However, I'm not even sure the fun fact is necessary... I can only surmise the STUFF process didn't exist at the time this article was made. Ehh, history of the pages doesn't seem to support that theory. So I'll settle with it being an oversight or something. Anyway, anybody care, or have any thoughts on the fun fact? -- LGC&CS 03:08, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Adieu?

A rather common confusion. Adieu, in this case, should be ado. I'm just gonna go ahead and add a remark about that, since I'm sure no one cares too much, and if anyone does, well, I left a trail, so I'll take the blame. -- Dragoon5464 10:03, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

Strong Bad afterparty?

Are you sure that one can hear Strong Bad in the afterparty Easter egg? I can't.

  • It's been fixed. Duly noted. Rowsdower45 21:34, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Flawless Homsar?

Do you think that Homsar said he was cryin' on the inside to sound like Strong Sad, or because he was (apparently) disqualified?Runstar Homer 18:18, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Probably both reasons. Who knows what really goes on inside that little head of his? – The Chort 18:20, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Flash File

What does it mean that this toon's ending easter egg was embedded in the beginning of the flash file instead of at the end? I'm not really good with this whole flash file stuff. Homestar-Winner (talk) 23:25, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

That's just talking about the location within the file where the egg is stored; it's impossible to tell simply from watching the toon in its intended format. Since you bring it up, I think that this fact should be removed: it's only noticeable when you use a Flash viewer with a seekbar or a Flash decompiler to view the toon. Trey56 23:30, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
Eh, there's already several facts that you can only find out are true by decompiling the file, or whatever, I think. Go ahead and keep it. How do decompile a flash file anyway? Homestar-Winner (talk) 00:40, 26 May 2007 (UTC) (Thanks for answering it)
Download a flash decompiler.· · T2|Things 00:41, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Well, we normally exclude Flash artifacts and the like. In response to your other question, you have to download a special program to decompile Flash files, but there are some pretty good free or trial decompilers out there. Trey56 00:44, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Homsar's Powers

In Homsar's character page, under "Homsar and the Laws of Physics," it talks about this email and states that he may have powers of metamorphasis, though "this hypothesis is disputed." We can clearly see that he has morphed forms, so how can it be disputed? ~ CoachZ(talk · contribs)~ 16:11, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
