Easter Egg

I've been wondering for quite a while now. They've made Everybody Knows It and in an Easter egg in this 'toon it shows the Labor Dabor party, no animation, just playing Everybody Knows It. BUT now I'm wondering 2 things: 1. Was it originally a secret song like circles and 2. Why didn't they remove the easter egg? It makes logical sense. --Mr. Talks-a-Lot

Look Bonka, first, yes, this is the source of the song. Secondly, why SHOULD The Brothers Chapstick remove an easter egg. They only have done that once (in lackey). The song is higher quality here, as well. I hope that helps (if not, sorry), --Jellote 16:10, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Strong Bad referencing Lucky? (DECLINED)

In the Schenectady Crispies egg, Strong bad says "I hope I don't get caught!" This could be a reference to Lucky Charms, in which Lucky, the cereal making leprechaun, is constantly avoiding getting caught by the kids who want his cereal.

  • Decline. The Trix rabbit doesn't want to be caught by the kids; Barney doesn't want to be caught by Fred Flintstone while he's stealing Fred's Fruity Pebbles.   • I dunno why else Strong Bad would be saying "I Hope I don't Get Caught".. I mean, obviously there are many things he could be referencing. Personally to me the Lucky Charms one makes the most sense because that the Trix Rabbit does not want to get caught stealing the cereal, same with Barney. But only Lucky Charms has the spokesperson (i.e. the person of whom the cereal belongs to) trying to not get caught. I am still unsure but I think its a valid fact, though whether it is fun or not remains to be seen.   • This is a general reference to lots of kids' cereal commercials which involve someone trying to steal cereal from kids or kids trying to steal cereal from someone else. Not only is there Lucky, Trix Rabbit and Barney, there is also the Cookie Crook from Cookie Crisp.

Misspelling?

With the "misspelling 'woah' as 'whoa'" thing, I'm pretty sure both spellings are generally accepted. Does this really need to be mentioned, as people write these words both ways. If they ever write them. Which they don't. OpenSourceGreg 17:15, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

KOT Real Identity

• Strong Bad reveals that The King of Town is a self-proclaimed King of Free Country, USA. This may be a reference to James Strang who was one of three major contenders for leadership of the Latter Day Saint movement during the 1844 succession crisis. Rejected by the principal body of Mormonsa in Nauvoo, Illinois, he became the founder and prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Strangite), claiming it to be the sole legitimate continuation of the Church of Christ founded in 1830 by Joseph Smith, Jr.. In this capacity, he served as the crowned "king" of an ecclesiastical monarchy that existed for six years within the U.S. state of Michigan. James Strang also wore a bright red flannel robe topped by a white collar with black speckles.

It may just be a coincedence (or however you spell that) but Strong Bad's intro appears to be 757, a reverse of the 575 haiku rule.

I mean, maybe. The idea of a character getting "caught" in cereal ads exists for Lucky Charms, Cookie Crisp, and even Trix from a certain point of view. Which in turn makes it a little bit too vague and too TTATOT for a fun fact. --Jay (Talk) 18:37, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
