[edit] Where is the DVD commentary?

Why doesn't this article have the DVD commentary in it? I like reading those, since I can't buy the DVD myself. (Snif.) Kvb 12:29, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

Strong bad says in the King of Town DVD that the King does not live in a castle. However, in this email he seems to have forgotten all about it.

• Decline. Strong Bad does things like this frequently, and it's not the first time he's lied about something, i.e. The Cheat not having a computer in huttah! -Walking Armless
• Rewrite and accept. The idea's there, but it's a little wordy. Cut it down maybe to something like "Strong Bad said in the DVD that he didn't have a castle, but aspparently he does here."TakuaKaita600 20:06, 15 Apr 2005 (UTC)
• Decline Not only does Strong Bad have a penchant for lying, but this isn't even the first time after the KoT DVD that we've seen or heard about the KoT's castle. • In the email geddup noise, The Show's announcer calls Homestar "Kevin", referring to the wager he made here with Strong Bad.

In geddup noise/Inside References, someone wrote:

• The Show's announcer calls Homestar "Kevin", short for "Kevin DuBrow", the name he would have been known by had he lost Strong Bad's wager in the bet.

A correction could be:

• In the email geddup noise, The Show's announcer calls Homestar "Kevin", which is the same name Homestar would have had to change his name to if he had lost the wager he made here with Strong Bad.

Though it sounds redundant. So if this is the demise of that inside reference. So be it!

New RLR added comparing intro to Press Your Luck. Seems more likely it'd be Wheel Of Fortune, given TBC's ages. Thoughts? - Qermaq - (^T/C)  22:14, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

Though I think that Press Your Luck is the kinda thing TBC would reference, I immediately thought of Wheel when I heard that, and I'm sure about 99% percent of everyone else did, too. Wheel is a lot more well known then Press Your Luck, and if TBC are going to make a reference, they usually make it obvious as to what they were referencing. I definitly thought of PYL, too. The fact that SB yells "email!" at the moment where a PYL contestant would yell "stop!" gives it away. Especially since in WoF, the contestants never command the wheel to stop. - SailorHippyGirl

I know this is old, and probably no one will read this, but I've gone ahead and changed the article to match PYL. Qermaq's objections aside, consensus here appears to be toward PYL. Given especially the other times TBC have referenced it, given how the way he says "email" is the same way the contestants would say "stop", given the fact that the aforelinked page already had this email listed under PYL and not at all under Wheel before I got here today, and, given the fact that the invisicomment telling people not to add specific game show references was added by the one voice here who did not think it was a direct PYL reference, I think that I was justified in changing what I did. — Defender1031*Talk 11:08, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

It's definitely Press Your Luck. "Aaaand email" clinches it. "Big money" might be common to many shows, but "aaaand stop" is unique to PYL. The original argument that "given TBC's ages" it should be Wheel of Fortune doesn't hold much water with me, given that I am one week older than Matt, and I grew up watching PYL. — It's dot com 20:09, 9 July 2014 (UTC)

I can't believe I never noticed this before, but when Strong Bad first walks into the King of Town's castle, he's using an older "sulking" walk. This is quite evident when he stands up in the KoT's Foodstuffs space. Aranai 01:41, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
