• 21 Jump Street was a TV-Series that ran from 1987 to 1992, and starred, (among others) Johnny Depp.
• The Cheat, drawn as one single animated line, may be a reference to La Linea, an old Italian TV show with a slightly choleric person that was drawn in the same style.
• The line "Who's gonna start a rock and roll band?" is accompanied by a "The Cheat" symbol that looks like the logo for the band Van Halen.
• The scene with the line "The Cheat is in the House" is remniscent of the Daft Punk music video "One More Time."
• The reference to Pikachu is most likely a reference to the fact that The Brothers Chaps edited the original The Cheat down to look more like a Pokémon (maybe Pikachu).
