Just joined, contributed a few bucks to the cause...

Well, I've read this site off and on over the last year or so, and this week I finally made myself an account and added a couple of edits... then I saw the fundraising drive and dug into my (virtual) pocket and decided I could spare $5 or so. After all, I haven't contributed to Public Radio yet this year, or to Wikipedia... and I feel the charity itch. Though it's not really 'charity', is it, since we're definitely benefiting, from the entertainment and sense of community of the site...

Anyway, I feel better having given something, even if it's not much (it's about equivalent to what I make, after taxes, in half an hour of working at my job). But i guess every little bit counts.

Hello. I'm Sam the Man, and this is your warm welcome. Thank you for contributing to our knowledge base. And it is also good to see you donate to 2008 Spring Fundraising Drive. keep up the good work. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 20:33, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Hey, thanks for the welcome! Checked out your userpage. It's good to see some younger Homestar fans out there ;). Not everyone out there is a crafty 28-year-old trilobite like me I guess.
