Anonomous edit

Hi there. An edit was recently made to your user page from an ip address. I have reverted it, as we generally only allow a logged in user to edit user pages, and only their own page. If this was you not logged in, you can restore the edit by going here and clicking "save page". If it wasn't you, no further action is necessary. Hope that helps. — Defender1031*Talk 00:13, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

That was me, just forgot my password. But that's okay I remembered it and already edited my userpage earlier today. C-Son-L Sweaters 20:41, 18 October 2009 (UTC)C-Son-L Sweaters

Forgot my Password

As stated above, I forgot my password. So the Wiki won't be seeing me for a while, but they will be hearing from me. I've still got the talk page. So in any case of needing to communicate with me, use the talk page. That's all for now.

YAY!!!

Hi, C-Son-L Sweaters here and I REMEMBERED MY PASSWORD!!!! YAY!!! NOW I CAN BE A PART OF THE COMMUNITY AGAIN!!!!!

I'm so glad. What you need to do right now is go to your preferences and enter an email address. That way, if you forget your password, the system can email you a new one. Here's a couple of other handy tips: When you're typing on talk pages, don't press return after every line. Just keep typing on the same line, and put your signature on the same line as the rest of your comments (like mine is below). Also, to sign your name, just type four tildes (~~~~), and the system will convert it to your name and the date. You should not type "C-Son-L Sweaters and the Get Bored Crew" after it, because that makes your signature too long. Thanks! — It's dot com 17:32, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Sig

Your signature isn't working quite right. You need to put "{{User:C-Son-L Sweaters/sig}}" as your signature in your preferences, and then you need to check "Treat signature as wikitext" right under it and save your changes. Then, when you sign your name, you need to put four tildes (and only four tildes). — It's dot com 20:52, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

Okay. I think I got it. I'll just make sure now. C-Son-L Sweaters 20:57, 18 October 2009 (UTC)C-Son-L Sweaters
I messed up in my first post, but I fixed it above. See how it has braces and "/sig". Those are important. Also, notice how I used a colon to indent your reply and two colons to farther indent my reply. — It's dot com 21:00, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Was that right?
No, that's still not right. You need to put this exactly in your preferences: "{{User:C-Son-L Sweaters/sig}}" (without quotes). — It's dot com 21:09, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay, now i'll try it. C-Son-L Sweaters 21:18, 18 October 2009 (UTC)C-Son-L Sweaters If that's not completely it then it's at least very close.
It's very close. You've got your preferences right. Now, when you sign your name, don't put anything but ~~~~. Don't repeat your sig template. — It's dot com 21:21, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Okay. C-Son-L Sweaters 21:22, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
Great! Now, a few tips and tricks. Before you save an edit, it's a good idea to click "Show preview" first, to make sure everything looks like you think it should. Also, you should put a brief description of your edit in the "Summary" field, which shows up in the page history. Last, it's considered bad form to reply to old discussions, especially if you're just throwing in your two cents and the discussions are months or years old. Unless there's a compelling reason, please only reply to current discussion. Thanks! — It's dot com 21:28, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

It's me again wondering: How could I multicolor my sig? Like, how Defender and Homfrog have multicolored sigs. C-Son-L Sweaters 21:06, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Also, how could I make the font for my sig a little bigger? I think it's just a bit too small. C-Son-L Sweaters 21:08, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Check out Help:Signature. The CSS property you're looking for is "font-size". Make sure you don't make it too big. Also, be aware that most people don't see your signature like you intend because not many people have the Glitch0 font installed. Hope that helps. — It's dot com 21:40, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Alright and how do I multicolor (Example: blue, then red and then green)? C-Son-L Sweaters 21:52, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Talk Page Etiquette

Hey there C-Son-L Sweaters, I wanted to point you to our guidelines on talk page etiquette, and give you some insight on how talk pages on this wiki work. In general, questions about the content of toons are better left to the forum. Questions about the content of wiki pages are best asked on that page's talk page, and questions about the wiki in general are best asked either here on your own talk, or on the wiki talk pages related to the aspect of the wiki in question. Asking about a sitewide design change on the talk page of That A Ghost just doesn't make sense. Further, responses to long-dead conversations, or leaving comments that don't contribute to bettering the wiki or the specific page in question are better left unsaid. And in answer to your question, yes, we tend to change the wiki skin for certain holidays and seasons. Hope that helps. — Defender1031*Talk 00:22, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

One more thing, please don't edit other people's talk posts. They said what they said, and changing it is tantamount to misquoting them. They're free to fix it themselves if they want, but we shouldn't do it for them. Talk atcha later. — Defender1031*Talk 00:57, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
You're probably tired of getting these but let me just say, please don't remove comments you've made from talk pages like you did here. Keep on tranglin. cash money tc 01:05, 20 October 2009 (UTC)
Just to clarify, it's okay to remove or edit an erroneous post of your own shortly after posting it, but once it's been responded to, it's best to leave it as it is. Otherwise, the reply tends to be out of place and make no sense. — Defender1031*Talk 01:06, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Using Show Preview

The one in the middle

Hello C-Son-L Sweaters, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, It's dot com 21:51, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Okay, seriously. All those edits to your signature are exactly the kind of thing that I'm talking about. Please use the Show Preview button instead of saving each test. — It's dot com 22:40, 22 October 2009 (UTC)

Updating Your Userpage

Hey C-Son-L Sweaters. You've updated your userpage 14 times in the last two days. That is not a small number. In the future, it would be a great help if you turned your focus from your userpage to more constructive edits to the database (i.e., don't update your 'current status' so much, if at all). This makes patrolling Recent Changes a lot less of a hassle. Also, please reread what It's dot com mentioned about using the Show Preview button. Thanks! —FireBird|Talk 04:01, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

Renamed

Other Days of the Week, the page I made, was renamed after all, huh? What did you rename it? Just so I know so I can access it. C-Son-L Sweaters 23:04, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Oh crap nevermind, I see it got fused with All Toons. C-Son-L Sweaters 23:33, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Accessibility

I'm having trouble accessing the wiki. Occasionally it goes to Windows Internet Explorer Cannot Display Webpage. Something needs to be fixed with freaking windows. Dumb windows, always malfunctions. I mean, I know it's not the Wiki. So, Bill Gates needs to fix this crap. C-Son-L Sweaters 00:56, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
