Using Show Preview

Hello Jangles5150, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Revenge is no way to go

I see you wrote a comment on the Old-Timey template. It was revengeful since you were trying to get revenge on me for Ketchup and The Decemberween Stick. Please don't use revenge on anybody just because they nominated or deleted your article. Sam the Man P.S:Great ideas!

Signature

If you want to put {{words+help}} next to your username when you sign your name, you should get a signature. For more help, look at mine or click on signature on the help page. Sam the Man

No damage at all — creating a preset signature is only a convenience for you, not a requirement. If you decide you want to do this, here are instructions, but you're completely free to keep doing it manually if you want. Laters! Trey56 20:29, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Okay — go to Special:Preferences, and make sure that {{User:Jangles5150/sig}} is on the "Signature:" line (and that the "Enable raw signatures" box is checked). Trey56 20:34, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

You can find all that info at Help:Signature — play around with it, and let me know if you encounter any specific issues, and I'd be happy to help. One other thing I'll mention if you're going to play around with it: right now, your sig is right on the edge of the maximum length. While you're changing it, it would be best if you could make it a tiny bit shorter (e.g. by putting "words" and "helps" in a smaller font). Here's a sigbox to let you know how you're doing:

Oh, you need to save your image in a different format, like PNG or JPG. You can do that with MSPaint, I hear, if you're using a Windows computer. Trey56 20:58, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
