Splitting even the small pages

Jay, did you REALLY have to split the email pages that had only one or two fun facts? That just makes things a lot more cluttered as far as layout goes. --TheNintenGenius 10:16, 17 Jan 2005 (MST)

Yes I did. Consistency. And it's not THAT cluttered, compared to the way that the newer emails used to be. --Jay 10:45, 17 Jan 2005 (MST)

Mr. So-and-so-er-sad

Dear Jay,

Did you know So and So's t-shirt has Strong Sad's face on it?

Cyrius 17:07, 20 Jan 2005 (MST)

WOW! NO WAY! I hadn't noticed that! In no way is that already in the transcript that I wrote the first draft of in the first place! --Jay 17:15, 20 Jan 2005 (MST)

Frustration of frustrations! It's all they ever add! -- Cyrius 23:07, 20 Jan 2005 (MST)

Updating standards

Hi there Jay. If you're still up for it, you can add those fun fact changes to the HRWiki:Standards page. I think that might ease your frustrations a bit. -- Tom 11:36, 26 Jan 2005 (MST)

Actually, this is my last update before I have to go to class. But if someone else doesn't, I may just add them in, oh, about an hour. Also, I'm in an easily-frustratable mood today (cat kept me up last night.) --Jay 11:40, 26 Jan 2005 (MST)
Poor little kitty. Yeah, there is no rush. I think we can all wait a few hours or so. -- Tom 11:46, 26 Jan 2005 (MST)
More like poor little me when she doesn't want to let me sleep (which is fortunately not most nights.) --Jay 01:37, 30 Jan 2005 (MST)

I apologize

Ok, look Jay, I'm sorry I crapped up the sightings page. I might be able to save it. I saved the page before I edited it, like I always do. I think I can copy everything on that page I saved and paste it over the text I crapped up. It's risky, but it's worth a shot. unknown 3/22/05 10:01

It has already been reverted. Thanks. -- Tom 12:19, 23 Mar 2005 (MST)

Labor Dabor modification

The reason "SPARE!" is a phrase instead of a word is because it has punctuation (the exclamation mark) as part of it. Words don't come with any punctuation attached to them, which is why I thought it should be referred to as a phrase as opposed to a word. Just for the sake of backing up my argument, I'd like to say that it IS possible for a phrase to consist of just one word.

That is to say, if it had just been "SPARE", then I would certainly agree with you that it was just a word. -- Whybrid 15:07, 7 Apr 2005 (MDT)

Pom Pom is a Player.

Much of the humor of Pom Pom revolves around the idea that he is a real ladies man. I feel very sure that this...

"*When Homestar says that some lady gave Pom Pom a hundred bucks, it is likely a reference to the house that was giving out change, as mentioned in The House that Gave Sucky Treats."

... is not correct. It has nothing to do with The House that Gave Sucky Treats

How would it be appropriate to say that one of Pom Pom's many "girlfriends" gave him money for some mysterious reason? The brothers Chaps are trying to be risqué here, but how much does hrwiki want the implications of their suggestiveness to be spelled out?

Because Pom Pom's many girlfriends live on the Isle of Pom, of course! --Jay 14:20, 10 Apr 2005 (MDT)

Fun Fact Deletion

Comment: Take it easy on the 'fun fact deletion'. Someone thought it was worthwhile enough to type in. --R

Please don't take it personally if I delete a Fun Fact. There are lots of reasons I might delete one.
  1. It's already on the page somewhere.
  2. It doesn't add anything to the article.
  3. It's outright wrong.
  4. It's currently on the STUFF page.
I suspect it was a #2 that you're talking about. Believe me, I'm a lot less picky about what Fun Facts can stay than some users here - I don't think Trogga is happy unless he deletes fifty less-than-perfect facts a day, for instance. It's not meant as a personal insult if I delete a fact that you added - just be sure you're giving meaningful additions to the pages first. --Jay 06:24, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)
PS. Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with the STUFF page. --Jay 06:27, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Response

I can't control the dead links that appear in my posts. For some reason my home computer turns random words into dead links and mangles pages. I don't know what's causing it and neither does tech support. That's why I only use my laptop for Wiki submissions. If the dead links return please tell me because it means there’s something wrong with ‘top too.

The_Pardack

I would recommend downloading and running SpyBot and AdAware, if you haven't already. Aurora the Homestar Coder 18:18, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I added that note to your (The Pardack's) talk page before I knew that it was adware adding the links. As I have seen it from many other non-malicious users, I apologize for making it sound as though it was intentional. Anyway, one of the programs in Aurora's message should tell you what to do. --Jay 21:32, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Email

Hi there Jay. Would you mind sharing your email address with me? Shoot one over to tom@hrwiki.org, and I'll explain everything. Thanks. -- Tom 02:14, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Nomination

Just here to say "you're welcome" for nominating you for sysop, and telling you that I do believe fuly that you are the best candidate for the job. You're welcome! -- Posted by: -erson Talk 22:44, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, I intentionally made no edits to my own nomination (in case I said something dumb ;) but I really should have thanked you for your support. Thanks! May no spammer escape my wrath, no troll left unreverted. :p --Jay 22:49, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Speaking of which, you should have been on yesterday at about 10:00pm. There were two major trolls messing up every page they could find. I was the only one on revertign them, I was completely busy for a half hour when Dr.Haggis came on and blocked them. I really needed some help! Oh well, its past now. -- Posted by: -erson Talk 22:52, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Unfortunately, I was at work around that time last night (assuming you're relatively close to my time zone). Wiki screening and editing is a hobby of mine, but it doesn't pay the bills. ;) --Jay 22:55, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Auto Email Confirmation

Thanks, it's good to have a resident historian within our midst. I myself was only introduced to H*R late August 2003, so I've always been interested in the history of its changes over the years, since I've missed out on so much. But thank you for the confirmation, good to know it wasn't just some phony's made up message. (Oh, and btw, my website source is the same one I used for H*R updates 2003, '02, and '01. It's pretty accurate, so I've trusted most everything said on it). ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 03:04, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Thanks, and according to the page, the GIF of the mouse on Strong Bad's Website is the gateway to this short. But I guess, like The Secrets That I Keep, this was also origionally the automated e-mail egg, later stuck somewhere else on the site. Thanks alot man, that was really bugging me. (Oh, and thanks for adding the Fun Fact to the Page). ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 03:23, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Sysop

Just letting you know, you have been given sysop privileges. If you have any questions, never hesitate to ask. Thanks. -- Tom 00:32, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Congratulations man, you deserve it! I guess that means you outrank me now, eh... Sir? EDIT: Yea, just slightly. It was a way of covering my severe dissapointment. Read about my story of what happened on my talk page... And I still outrank you by about three months. :-P ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 00:48, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Congrats! I knew you would be! -- Joshua 01:21, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Thanks! (Though Thunderbird's "outrank me" mark was a LITTLE premature - congrats to you too!) I'm testing out my new powers by deleting a page I obsoleted yesterday. --Jay 01:23, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, I suspect I might be the "youngest" sysop (as in, most recent joined), but I don't know when furrykef joined so I could be wrong. --Jay 01:37, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
According to User:InterruptorJones, I joined Mar. 18, 2004. So I'm one of the old hands, I'm just not usually around. But there are still tons of ways to get my attention (my Wikipedia talk page, e-mail, etc.) - furrykef (Talk at me) 01:53, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I joined February 11, 2004. I think I'm the oldest sysop, if we're talking about join dates. IJ came a couple of hours later after me. →FireBird
Yea, Firebird's kinda an interesting case of senority. He's been around the longest, yet he's still probably the youngest. But I respect him. He's got my followingship. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 02:03, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
November 12, 2004 for me, according to this page's history. But I might not be the youngest after all - FortyTwo apparently joined in December! (Though he hasn't made any edits recently, his username still has sysop rights.) --Jay 02:04, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

New Big Project To Break In Our Newfound Sysopness

Fellow Sysops, I call thee! How would you guys like to help on a big new project I came up with? The idea is on the Main Page talk, at the bottom, and has already been approved by Tom. Let me know on my talk page, especially with a good idea for the page title. Thanks. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 02:00, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

EDIT: Seems like the conversation exploded here instead. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 03:00, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)
I saw, but I don't really feel like joining in this project right this minute. Perhaps later. Good luck, though! --Jay (Talk) 03:02, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Time To Split?

Since you've done so much splitting, you wanna split this? I'm not much for it myself. Thanks. (If I see any others in my travels, I'll add 'em here too, if you don't mind doing the job). Thunderbird 09:27, 1 May 2005 (UTC)

The First Time

I don't want to get into a reversion war, but ... the thing I'm trying to say is that the keg (a keg?) first appeared in an email in helium. The "other" appearances, whether in an email or a toon, are irrelevant (at least for determining the item prices). No mention is made of the numerous "other" apperances of the other items at the sale. Just thought I'd explain my thinking. -- tomstiff 17:36, 2 May 2005 (UTC)

But it implies that the keg first appeared in helium, when A Jumping Jack Contest far precedes it. No other mentions are made of the other items because they're either extremely common (like Marzipan's Answering Machine) or their first appearance in an email happened to be their first appearance anyway. And anyway, I've cut it down to "and other places", which doesn't take up a lot of space. --Jay (Talk) 17:39, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
I don't mean to put too fine a point on this, but ... only the first email appearance is what's important here: it's what was used to determine the price. The explanation above specifies that. -- tomstiff 17:43, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
Then we might as well remove the "Cheat Commandos Commercial" link from those toys and the "3 Times Halloween Funjob" link from the candle... See where I'm going with this? --Jay (Talk) 17:48, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
Actually, a table might be a better way to present the items and first email appearance. Just an idea. -- tomstiff 17:44, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
Prehaps, Monaco. </senorcardgage> But what would the table look like? What info would it provide? Item, price, first email appearance, buyer, special note? Would that really fix this issue? --Jay (Talk) 17:48, 2 May 2005 (UTC)

Hello Jay!

  • Graw Mad = Strong [MB]ad, sorry dude, my mad. :) The phrase was "'Graw Mad' is Strong Bad's nickname for Strong Mad" and my eyes deceived me so all I saw was "'Graw Mad' is Strong Bad's nickname". Thanks for catching that. :)
  • Benendetto Prostrate: I see your point that such a phrase might personify it too much; I was only trying to disambiguate that the popcorn popper was not in fact upright in the foreground. Any other ideas?

MetaStar 06:01, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

Fair enough - I edited the Bennedetto line in a way that didn't make him seem any more human than H*R already did, and still pointed out his position. And the "Graw Mad" thing is understandable, but a little humorous (sorry about my sarcasm in the summary). --Jay (Talk) 06:06, 3 May 2005 (UTC)

Screenshots

Hey, I was just wondering, what was the reason for the deletion of all my Strong Bad E-mail screenshots? -- Super Sam 04:11, 8 May 2005 (UTC)

Except in a few special cases, we only need one screenshot per transcript. Any more and the transcripts become cluttered. Anyway, I only deleted them - I wasn't the one who removed them from the articles. --Jay (Talk) 04:16, 8 May 2005 (UTC)

Why the reversion?

Just curious - why did you back out my Real-World Reference addition to "caffeine?" Is it because I stated it as fact instead of speculation?

"Solid as a rock" is a very very common phrase that FAR predates Ashford and Simpson's song. --Jay (Talk) 01:33, 10 May 2005 (UTC)

Re:CAPS to Italics

My mistake. But shouldn't that be mentioned in the Standards page? It only tells what to do with the messages from the sender, but not Strong Bad's response to it. --Úħ¡ βøв 21:49, 16 May 2005 (UTC)

Blockage?

Dude, you keep on blocking me because you say "I keep asking for a dollar?" What does that mean. Some a-might be thieving my identity or something. Can you clarify what you meant? Cheatachu72

I didn't block your screen name (obviously). Three different IP addresses asked for a dollar on article pages, over and over again. If you have an IP address that changes a lot, you might have hit one of them totally by accident - which would have blocked you too. But you're obviously posting, and two of the three IP addresses were blocked indefinitely. Why is it you believe you were blocked? --Jay (Talk) 02:16, 17 May 2005 (UTC)
Here is an example of one of the three IP addresses' "dollar" requests. --Jay (Talk) 02:18, 17 May 2005 (UTC)
  • DuDe! I swear I didn't do that! When I got blocked, I hadn't even heard about Bug in Mouth Disease! I think someone's a-been fwamin' a-my butt. AGH! I'm so irritated! I just explained this exact case to Tom! I've got rings around me eyes!
    • I never said you did - I only said that it happened. Can't you tell Tom your IP number on his talk page? --Jay (Talk) 06:43, 21 May 2005 (UTC)

STUFF reform

Jay, thank you for your suggestions. They have been quite helpful. Would you mind taking another look at the page? I think I have vastly improved the source code, and I've incorporated your ideas for revising facts. — It's dot com 21:06, 18 May 2005 (UTC)

Siggie

Hey Jay. I just thought I'd pass a bit of Joey Day wisdom on to you about sigs. Have you tried the template meathod? Basically it lets you shorten your code left behind, and lets you change ALL your sigs at the same time. You just put your sig code on a subpage of your userpage, (e.g. 'User:Jay/sig' or something). Then in your prefferances box, put {{User:Jay/sig}}. And that's all there is to it. It changed my life man, spread the word! Thunderbird 01:05, 19 May 2005 (UTC)

That sounds like a cool idea. Lemme try it. --Jay (Talk) 01:44, 19 May 2005 (UTC)

Rally's Checkers

Hey, Jay, in TGS1, Strong bad makes a reference to Rally's and Checkers. Now, I know these places are in fact the same food chain (or at least they have been since 1999). I've been to both, ordered from both, even seen commecials from both, and except for the name, the places are identical. However, when I try to put this fact in "Real World References," it keeps getting, to quote Strong Bad, "DELETED!" Why is that? -- Redmond 14:50 EDT, May 23 2005

Because anyone could just click on the links to find out the information! --Jay (Talk) 19:28, 23 May 2005 (UTC)

Why revert?

Uh, why did you revert my removal of a <pre> section in long pants? User:JoeyDay has stated that we need to start replacing pre with blockquotes. (I'm referring to the accurate revert, where you left the emails formatted but not the egg.) — Jesse's Girl 19:20, 27 May 2005 (UTC)

I thought he only meant the emails - I didn't realize there was any consensus to un-pre anything else. Though if you can show me where I'm wrong then I'll shut up. --Jay (Talk) 19:22, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
It's Talk:Main_Page#New_blockquote_style.... BTW, Joey's opinion overrides any "consensus". On Talk:Strong Bad Email he said: pre is the wrong way to quote material. We should come up with a default style for blockquote and use that for everything. Also, see User:JoeyDay. If there's still any doubt, though, we can ask him. — Jesse's Girl 19:32, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, I just saw that myself. Go ahead, but I think a generic blockquote isn't any better than pre - maybe worse. (Note that the emails do NOT use a generic blockquote.) --Jay (Talk) 19:34, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
I'm with Jay. The <pre> tags are currently better than the generic blockquote. This could be changed, however. — It's dot com 21:26, 27 May 2005 (UTC) P.S. Although Joey's opinion commands a tremendous amount of weight (as it rightly should), he himself has said several times that he respects the consensus of other users, and that this wiki does not belong to him. Otherwise, he wouldn't have asked anybody's opinion, he would simply have made the changes himself.
Actually, on the page User:JoeyDay he has stated that he still does own the wiki, but that he considers it the property of the community. So while I see your point, I'm afraid I agree with Joey. I will continue to use <blockquote> to replace pre. Jesse's Girl 11:52, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)

E-mail: Rampage (edits)

So apparently my edits have been reverted without even giving a glance to my explanation.

Yes, I *know* Marzipan says "would be" twice. This point has been discussed extensively on the BHZ forums. One of the theories there was that Marzipan was referring to one "Geoff Chaucerwouldbe". This is plausible because the Brothers Chaps have a history of inventing/twisting around real-life names for the H*R universe (one example is Hoofton Mifflin in the colonization email).

Please read the comments and explanations before automatically reverting edits.

  • I did read it. I rejected it. You haven't provided any support for this theory, and the H*R Wiki is not the place for random speculation. --Jay (Talk) 21:17, 27 May 2005 (UTC)

Ah, all right. I thought it worthy of mention, but apparently it is not.

SBemail style conversion

Good jorb, Jay. By my count, we each did almost exactly half of the email style conversion (I just barely edged you out), with one or two random users doing a few.

I don't know whether it makes a difference, but the classes of blockquote are "email" and "tandy email". There are no special definitions for "compy" and "lappy". I'm sure the software just ignores the extra words, so no big deal.

You wondered about the "short" version: All it does is make the box a certain width for really brief emails, like "i she be". That way, Strong Bad's head shows a little more.

You mentioned having Homestar's head for a couple of them. I also think this is a good idea. In the meantime, I took SB's head out where it didn't belong, for example in "anything".

It's dot com 21:44, 27 May 2005 (UTC)

Good work, Jay and It's dot com. It really looks nice. I've been with you two all afternoon, patrolling all your edits. I also edited the almost-forgotten Arcade Game. Again, good work. --BazookaJoe 22:07, 27 May 2005 (UTC)
Thanks, BazookaJoe. — It's dot com
I WAS aware of the non-difference that "compy" and "lappy" made, but I put them in on the off chance that we actually DO something with them later (we may not, but since it didn't affect anything, I figured that it didn't hurt.) Should we ever change our minds that way, it's better to put them in now than later. And, really, all it really affected was me typing six extra characters per email (counting the space.) Thanks to you guys too, as well as everyone else who helped! --Jay (Talk) 06:07, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
I had a feeling that you did that with forward-compatibility in mind. That's good thinkin'. — It's dot com 14:40, 28 May 2005 (UTC)

Pettiness, Jay?

Hey, Jay, why is it that you can't accept the fact that the Change of Pace fun fact was accepted? And why are you exercising the power to continue to challenge it? --ISlayedTheKerrek 15:29, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • I've given my reasons. It's a coincidence, nothing more. --Jay (Talk) 21:36, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • He's not the only one. You guys accepting that fact is rediculous and not based in reality. Just because you vote "yea" to something does not make it true. Just because if given the vote humanity would vote to live forever, it aint gonna happen. No matter how much people want this to be a reference, it just aint so. -- Tony Stony 22:00, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
      • My friends, just because you vote "decline" on something does not make it false. (See my additional comments on the "do over" talk page.) — It's dot com 23:45, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
        • Look, people...there are plenty of fun facts that have been accepted that are pure coincidence. Those weren't challenged. --ISlayedTheKerrek 17:38, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
          • For example? --Jay (Talk) 18:37, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
            • Or... instead of providing more examples and starting whole new arguments, we could lay this issue to rest. The votes have been counted—and recounted—and all of the eloquent argumets from both sides of the discussion aren't doing anything to budge anybody's opinion. I'm sorry that in this case you happen to disagree with the majority, but sometimes that happens. — It's dot com 19:03, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
              • Just because the majority accepts it doesn't make it true. And contesting a Fact is perfectly legitimate. --Jay (Talk) 19:04, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
                • I'll admit the case for the fact is circumstantial, but—I'll say once more—circumstantial does not equal false. I know I'm not going to convince you to change your mind on this, just as I know you won't change the minds of all those who voted to accept (I myself am closer to the middle). The point I'm trying to make is that we should stop trying. — It's dot com 19:28, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
                  • There's talk on Talk:do over to contact TBC themselves. I have a feeling they won't respond, but it's worth a try. --Jay (Talk) 19:36, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • I can give a few examples. Beverly Sportsinterviews ring a bell? That couldn't have been a legitimate reference to Beverly Cleary, yet it was accepted. The "Silent J" fun fact was not only coincidental, but it was a "could be" fun fact, and that was accepted. And of course, even though this hasn't been verdicted yet, the Chris Latta reference STUFF I put up, which, while not coincidental, is being accepted because everyone is missing the point of the STUFF, meaning I don't think it's a direct reference to Latta. --ISlayedTheKerrek 19:21, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
    • I disagree about Beverly Cleary/Sportsinterviews. I don't see how "Silent J" could NOT be referring to "Jay and Silent Bob" (despite my name, I don't watch it, but it fits. Especially given SB's comment.) And let me check the details of the Chris Latta thing. --Jay (Talk) 19:23, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
      • As for the Chris Latta name, you can go ahead and drop Latta's name but the connection to Cobra Commander fits like a glove, ESPECIALLY given the nature of The Cheat Commandos. "Change of Pace" is unconnected - it's a joke that's been done before in things that have nothing to do with Family Guy, and if anything, the coincidental timing makes me think it's LESS likely to be the case - they may have been working on the email while Family Guy was on. --Jay (Talk) 19:32, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
        • Still, Jay, if 16 people voted to accept it, you should just let it slide. There's a lot worse crap on the wiki than that. --ISlayedTheKerrek 03:54, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

And if isn't a prop, and on the wiki...?

Jay, then it could very well be listed as a minor cast member, perhaps? James Craven 3:43 PM EDT June 3 2005

It IS a prop. --Jay (Talk) 21:09, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

A previous message to me

OK I usually just add to discussions and for so long was not a member. It was also mainly for the ability for people to know the person to ask about it and things. It's wahst I have had a legacy for on many websites and mmorpgs despite anyone elses attempts to stop me or the opinions of them on what I do. But I commend you, you do seem to be a decent person.

"scriGGy"-scroll?

Jay,

You reverted my correction of "scriggy-scroll" to "scribby-scroll" for the scroll buttons song. It really sounds like "scribby-scroll" to me. What evidence do you have that it's "scriggy-scroll"?

Sure sounds like "scriggy-scroll" to me. — InterruptorJones 17:51, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Sounds like "scriggy-scroll" to a lot of people. That is why he changed it. --BazookaJoe 17:59, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I just don't hear it. It clearly sounds like "scribby-scroll" to me. Plus, a Google search of both terms returns 554 hits for "scribby-scroll" but only 320 for "scriggy-scroll", so the general consensus appears to be in favor of scribby-scroll. Thoughts? —Shawn81 18:56, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I don't know where you're getting "scribby" from. Aurora the Homestar Coder 19:39, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Until about 90 seconds ago, I thought it said "scribby", too. However, upon further review, I am in the "scriggy" camp. -- tomstiff 19:44, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Uh, yeah. Anything else I need to add? --Jay (Talk) 20:06, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Ok, I guess you guys win. I still don't hear it, though... —Shawn81 22:53, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)

"BACK OFF BABY"

Jay,

You also removed the section from StrongBadZone that details how to hear the "BACK OFF BABY" sequence by opening the right-click Flash menu after Vector Strong Bad says "YOUR HEAD A SPLODE". You claim that it doesn't work, but it does work for me, and apparently for some other people too. I think that we should leave it up there with a modification that it works for some people. Perhaps we should determine what systems it works on? I would like to hear your thoughts on this.

Shawn81

Fair enough. Or perhaps it was a poor/incomplete description. If you're certain it works for you, add it back, but I couldn't get it to work at all. --Jay (Talk) 20:04, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)
It's possible that it's a Mac thing. —Shawn81 23:01, 7 Jun 2005 (UTC)
