IRON CUP'd!

Nice work, Fonteroy!
I'm buying you a pizza.

Thank you, Mr. Couchyman, for all your dedicated and hard work on Fonts and the related. Here, have some soup. --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 02:48, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Mr. Couchyman? Nice.... Anyway, thanks for the stew my Brother. (Makes me want to shout "Amen, Brother!" like those TV evangelists.) But I want a pizza trophy when I'm done, okay? =] OptimisticFool 05:36, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
As requested, here is your pizza trophy. Awexome job, OF. Homestar-Winner (talk) 00:47, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Right on! Thanks, Winner! =] OptimisticFool 05:05, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Very nice work, OP. Vera nice work. I've been following your font edits since almost day 2 and I went over most of your uploaded images (as part of my daily log track). It looks wonderful, awesome, it rocks and I wish I had thesame kind of stamina you had while making this. Rock rock on and all that. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 08:20, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Yes! I've been checking it out, too. Awesome jorb! Respect. :-) Loafing 11:17, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

ASCII

How did you make the whale? Surely you didn't do it manually, right? -DAGRON 15:42, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Surprised no one asked sooner. =] http://ascii.mastervb.net OptimisticFool 18:19, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Where to Allow Second-Person

In response to your recent edits to "change 'your' DVD's audio language..." in various articles (which are essentially reverting the changes that SlipKnot and I made), I can't really say if that's good or bad. The community still hasn't figured out where second-person is and isn't appropriate and, frankly, HRWiki:Article Cleanup has come to a standstill because of it. I've asked on the talk page for Article Cleanup about if articles on games should use second-person and haven't gotten a response yet. We all need to have a discussion and set up some guidelines. For now though, don't revert anything, okay? -Brightstar Shiner 23:46, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

It's certainly nothing personal; when something is considered a "major revision" it ought to be discussed first. In this case, for every toon that has DVD commentary this would have to be re-written (assuming a rewrite is community-approved), so I'd call that pretty major. So, until it is discussed, I'd advise against changing this particular wording on the pages you proofread, thus eliminating any chance of me reverting anything. =] To let you know, though, I think I'd support a rewrite, but at this point I have no suggestion as to the wording. But I digress.. the wording is not a subject for my talk page. OptimisticFool 23:59, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
That's okay; I didn't take it personally. ^_~ I also know that your talk page won't turn into the host of the discussion. I just wanted to let you know that I won't change that particular part of DVD commentaries or proofread any more articles until something is worked out. Maybe I can jumpstart a conversation on Article Cleanup to figure out second-person. -Brightstar Shiner 00:23, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

For future reference, second-person is allowed any time the reader has to do something, like in Easter Eggs, Games, and DVD commentaries. Thank you and have a nice day. -Brightstar Shiner 18:25, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Relink-uish your images please, fellas

Good job on the tedious work there! (really this post is just so i could make that joke, but still keep up the good work :P) — Defender1031*Talk 20:18, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

So, uh... did you realize that your user page has an outdated link to Weekly Fanstuff? Relink-uish your user page! OptimisticFool 21:31, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Good Jorb!

You do a great job with the commentaries and all your other work. I just started recently, and looking at what you have done gave me some great ideas on things to do. Your page is great and gave me ideas on what to do with mine. I especially liked your page on the Best/Worst X Ever. The kind of things you put on the wiki gave me great ideas on what to work on. Thanks! -{{User:Libdoodle/sig}} 00:26, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Image

Well, you could improve this image maybe. I one cropped out the corners from an older version, but it would be better to go by your idea and fill in the corners on the older image. Homestar-Winner (talk) 11:02, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Not quite what I meant by improving edges.. I was speaking mostly about images that have been edited for templates like the examples I gave. That is, images that have been edited to have a certain background color but have just had the background flood-filled out. So, your suggestion isn't quite $1,000,000 material. I did fix that image, anyway, though. =] OptimisticFool 19:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Can I at least get $100,000? By the way, how do you fill in corners in images like you have been doing? Homestar-Winner (talk) 02:00, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Start with an ordinary screenshot, use just about any graphics program better than Paint, zoom in a kajillion times on a corner, use the dropper tool to select the color of the area surrounding the corner, and use the brush tool to take out the sucker (only about 25 pixels per corner, so it's real quick). I use Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI (at least until I get version X2). Hope that helps. =] OptimisticFool 02:15, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Contributions: Page Creation

Is there a way to identify page-creations-by-user .. anyone know? That is, can I see a list of pages I've created? Including redirects? (I don't know where else to ask this.) OptimisticFool 00:11, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

I thought Special:Newpages would help, but I can only get as many as the seven most recent Main page articles to appear, and I don't even know if that would include redirects (I'm guessing: not). I know this page isn't soooo visible, but someone reading this must know of a way.. even if it takes a higher power to dig up a list like I'm looking for. OptimisticFool 17:42, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
You're looking for something similar to "user contributions" but with regard to page creation. That, as far as I am aware, does not exist. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 07:57, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Monobook Help!

Honestly I don't know what a monobook is. A book with mono, I guess. But anyway, can someone help me by modifying my monobook pages to add a {{plainlinks}} link to Google Search just to the left of my UTC clock? Lately I've been asking for so much help I feel like a noob all over again ([1], [2]). Anyway, please help if you can. OptimisticFool 06:11, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Monobook is the CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) for this site, if you've selected that option in your preferences. It won't affect your computer activity, just the viewport of the browser. I'm not sure where your UTC clock is, so I'd need more info before I could advise further. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 08:00, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Well, there's an image of where I put my UTC clock. I just did what it said at Help:UTC clock. OptimisticFool 13:23, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I don't know how you did that, so I'm out. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 13:43, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
