[edit] Strong Sad's Lament
Finaly! Someone else who reads SS's blog! "I'm sorry, Cambridge, will you shut off this force shield?" Oh, and by the way... Lucky. My school blocked homestar, Hrwiki, Strong badia the free, and anything enjoyable! cash money tc 01:04, 22 August 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late reply, I have no explanation for my hesitation (hey, that rhymes)! To be honest, I didn't get your reference to the same post where my name came from...that's a little embarrassing. I'm into all the interesting/real surreal parts of the site, such as Strong Sad's Lament, Thorax Corporation (obviously, as you can tell from my contributions on that page as an anonny). Well, those filters are there for a reason. But when you're done with work, and the rest of the class is at your disposal, what the heck are you going to do? Homework? —Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 23:06, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- Videlectrix.com is not blocked... for now at least. cash money tc 04:28, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'd be surprised if they did. It seems that classmates at my school are more into Kongregate (which I'm surprised they haven't blocked yet, or have they?) and other gaming sites. With the little games Videlectrix has available for play, not to mention how some of them wouldn't really be considered "fun" by others (I think?), Videlectrix shouldn't be a problem for schools anytime soon. Maybe Where's an Egg? could give the site a red flag ("Oh no! They gots a gun in a game!"), but it's nothing compared to what I've seen people play. —Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 13:16, 20 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Root Password of Ubuntu
Root Password can be edited by the first user that was made by the Ubuntu installer. Login to such user, and go to System > Administration > Users and Groups. Unlock the controls, and double click root (or edit it.) You can choose to set the password manually or have it randomized. Also, you should really ask ubuntuforums.org about your ATI (make sure to give them what model it is.) ColdReactive 22:24, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- It's a Raedon 2400. I turned overdrive (overclocking) on in Vista (Grr...Vista...), but that seems to crash the driver, or freeze the entire screen (or screens in my case) except the mouse, occasionally. Thank you for your unexpected and appreciated help! I guess I'll join the Ubuntu Forums at some point. —Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 17:40, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Gimme a
Hey there, Soiled Bargains. How's it goin'? You keep making edits that "validate" the line break tags (like so), and I just wanted to maybe save you some trouble by pointing out that it doesn't actually do anything. In wikitext,
and
both automatically get converted to
when the page is parsed, so making an edit just to change either of those really just adds a revision to the database. Hope that helps. Talk atcha later! — It's dot com 02:35, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've actually known about the automatic conversion of
elements for some time now. I guess it was just my perfectionist/compulsive side of me. Kind of like my spur with piping. Sorry about that, I'll stop. —Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 02:44, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Oh, cool!
I'm mentioned near the top of your userpage! The takeover is nearing its final steps! Oh, and by the way, I'm taking complete credit for you making an account now. free 16:10, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
