When welcoming...
Haldo there, Super Martyo Brother. Just a helpful hint here. When welcoming people, put subst: in your template, like this: {{subst:User:Super Martyo Brother/welcome|(name)|(time)}}
. If you don't, people may try to remove your welcome but will accidentally blank your welcome subpage. Hope it helps. Sequentially, BazookaJoe 00:25, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

MS Paint Screenie Help
What's MS Paint? Sam the Man
- MS Paint is the default paint program that comes with all Windows computers. If you want to know how to get to it, open start, go to all programs, go to accessories, and it should be displayed there somewhere as paint. MS stands for microsoft. -- Super Martyo boing! 22:25, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- How do I get an image on MS Paint? Sam the Man
- What do you mean by that? Do you want to take a screen capture (screenie) and put that on it or do you want to open a regular image in paint?-- Super Martyo boing! 22:33, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- A screen capture. Sam the Man
- Basically, what you do is press the button that says "Prt Scr" or something along the lines of that (it should be above your insert button). Then open up paint and press Ctrl and V at the same time and a picture of your screen should show up. -- Super Martyo boing! 00:14, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- Of course, if you want to trim it, you'll have to do a bunch of other stuff as well. -- Super Martyo boing! 01:34, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, to trim it all you need to do is use the select tool to select the area you want to keep, and then copy it. —Shwoo 02:03, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- But there's also doing what I like to call "Clear Erasing" where you select a color behind something to make it look authentic and paint over something you don't like. -- Super Martyo boing! 02:06, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- I don't understand. What's clear erasing? Is it anything to do with changing the secondary colour? —Shwoo 02:34, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey there SMB — I noticed that you had a lone userbox on your page and I saw that it was giving you some funny lines in weird places. If you want to get rid of those, just add a {| and a |} on a line above and below the userbox, respectively. It'll give you this:

QOW
Okay, i'll give you brownie points for guessing the answer. This answer may be true (since you googled it), but it wasn't the answer i was looking for. This answer (or one of) is that cats don't have a collarbone. If you or I were to jump and land on all fours, we could break our collarbone. Cats don't have that risk, so they land on all fours with no injury. For getting a right answer, however, you and Stux recieve this fine userbox.

Image Conflicts
With regards to these two images, if you notice in the upload history for the first I uploaded the version from the second, as you had previously tried to upload. They are now in fact the same image. Sometimes when replacing images, it might take the browser a couple of refreshes to update. In general it is better to just replace the image in question than upload an entirely new one in case it is used elsewhere. (Unless that is what you want.) If you don't mind. I'm going to re-place the delete tag. If you have any other problems with the image that you notice, please point them out in the image talk page or the user preferences talk page. --Stux 03:21, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Userspace Manifesto
Hey SMB, I'ma have to request that you rephrase your manifesto on the top of your userpage. First, it's considered inappropriate to threaten others with a block when you have no such abilities at this wiki. Second, demanding that others not edit your space in the way you have eliminates the possibility that you may inadvertently need to have a bad link fixed, an unintended inappropriate sentence changed, or the like. It's tantamount to saying "Sysops, hands off" which is not what I think you want to say here. Third, users are not permitted to use bots unless it is officially sanctioned, so that distinction in your statement further asserts more authority than you or I are actually alloted. Again, please consider rephrasing this language. - Qermaq - (T/C) 01:05, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed, except the third thing. Whoever said I use bots? I said bots can edit this page (i.e. The Cheatbot can change Homestar Runner (flash cartoon) to Homestar Runner (body of work)). -- Super Martyo boing! 01:10, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I could have misread, and I'm not going back to look, but it remains that as stated that paragraph isn't going to work. In fact, I'm thinking such a statement expresses a degree of superiority and importance that isn't at all necessary. Do you see the admins using such language on their page? I should also add that it's an unwritten but globally-understood policy that if a vandal attacks, posting on his use talk is useless. Your efforts should go to stopping the vandalism and watching for it, not asking him nicely to not do what he's going to do whether you ask him nicely or not. Basically, if this alert is stripped of all its shortcomings, it basically says, "Screwing up my page is bad" which we hope people already know even if they cannot read. Also, one more point: while it's nice of you to include Sysops in your class of approved editors, it's really the responsibility of EVERY user to correct bad edits. If someone logged in with your info and created havoc on yourt userpage, I could not fix it because I am not a sysop. You see? Making such a declaration in the first place leads to problems upon problems. - Qermaq - (T/C) 01:16, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, this time, I removed the entire thing and changed the old paragraph I've always had to reflect the stuff I had (but having it sound much nicer in my opinion). If you still have a complaint, tell me. I would like to have it so I don't seem like a jerk. -- Super Martyo boing! 01:31, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- P.S. I had a little statement saying "(as well as nice people reverting edits not by the parties mentioned)"
- Well, I could have misread, and I'm not going back to look, but it remains that as stated that paragraph isn't going to work. - Hm, I don't really know what that paragraph is for, anyway. We've got a policy that asks users not to casually edit the user pages of others. Doesn't that cover it? Addendum: you'll notice that it's the our policy to allow sysops as well as "ordinary" users to edit others' user pages in special situation such as vandalism or severe policy breaches. Of course, you can put any restrictions on your user page that you seem fit, but if you blatantly breach policy (not that I'm suggestion you are or ever have!), then someone might still come along and fix it. Keep on tranglin'! Loafing 01:41, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- I think what you have now is accurate, clear, and - as Loafing said - a little redundant. - Qermaq - (T/C) 01:45, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Geez, I can't really get a break at this wiki, maybe I should start vandalizing... but I won't because I'm nicer than that and I'm never going to go against anything god, I mean, Loafing says. DELORTED! -- Super Martyo boing! 01:48, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

Transcripts
Hi, Martyo: In case you didn't know, you actually can't reserve a transcript if you leave it. I know you're thinking, "Man, that's no fun!", but realize that it isn't right for the rest of the wiki to have to wait for a person to come back before the transcript can be finished. Another little thing: if you say you're leaving a transcript, go ahead and leave it; i.e., don't do any more work on it as soon as someone else claims it. That way it's fair to the other person who's doing it. OK, keep on tranglin'! Heimstern Läufer 23:50, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- Dude, Thank's for the beginning of the transcript. It probably shaved a good hour off the time it took me to write it all up. I'm sorry you couldn't have finished it yourself, and I know what it's like to not be able to do something you wanted to do. But good news! You have one less person to compete with for the next one. While I did enjoy doing it, it's a LOT of effort. I worked for 4 1/2 hours on it. I figure about an hour per minute of cartoon (which is why your contribution helped a lot.) By the way, in response to Heimstern, i know what you did. You had more written up than you submitted, were about to go off to baseball, and saw that you couldn't reserve the spot, so you got what you HAD done in first. Contrary to Heimstern, i actually DO appreciate that bit. (I would not have appreciated if you had uploaded any more than that one time, but that bit really helped.) So good luck on the next one, I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do. Anyway, I gotta go now. That tranglin' aint gonna be doing itself you know! DeFender1031 03:56, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
- In response to Heimstern, I wasn't reserving it. Multiple times that 'transcrptinprocess' tag was removed and once I saw it removed the first time I backed off after a quick save. After that, DeFender had all the right to do it. I just got a bit mad when he deleted my work. -- Super Martyo boing! 14:10, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
