Thanks, but I was fixing the problem on my user page at the same time you were... the page said "someone else has edited this page before you...". Isn't that a weird coincidence? Anyway, it's really late, and..... I hope they finish that LOGO DISCUSSION soon. Geez. TheYellowDart(t/c)

No problem... just providing some technical assistance, although I hadn't realized that your addition of the userboxes was so recent. I just stumbled across your page and noticed they weren't right, so I fixed them. Sorry for the edit conflict :) Trey56 06:58, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Trey, you own, dog. TheYellowDart(t/c) P.S. Come to my talk page. There's a heated conversation going on...

Looks like it cooled down by the time I got there — laters :) Trey56 07:33, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Great Jorb!

Nice transcript, buddy. --TheYellowDart(t/c)

Thanks :) Trey56 22:37, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Got some ? Marks for you

Hey Trey, um, I was wondering..... do have a Nintendo DS? If so, what games are good for it? I just got one for Decemberween, (yeah for some reason I'm not telling you, I got to get my gifts early this year...... ah, childhood...) and I need some advice on games. Reply to this on my talk page. Well, talk 'atcha later, TheYellowDart(t/c). High fives all the way, man.

Hm...lemme think. I'll reply on your talk page. Trey56 03:54, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Go here. Like, right now

This website www.linerider.com! Trust me! Go to it, enjoy it for a few minutes, and give me some feedback on my talk page. IT IS THE BEST THING ON THE INTERNET SINCE HOMESTAR RUNNER. Bowing to you, --TheYellowDart(t/c) December 28, 2006.

Help out

  • Hey, I'm thinking about creating a new page, but I don't know what to call it and I don't know all of its info. The page will be about interuppted names Strong Bad usually starts sounding out before getting interrupted by someone. Such as in bottom 10: He says, "and the number one spot in my bottom 10 is... Th--" and then gets interrupted. Please help out. I am sending this to all sysops... and you. --TheYellowDart(t/c)

Spoken Article Question

Hey Trey. I noticed you did a few Spoken Articles. They are in a .ogg extention. What program can I run them in? TheYellowDart(t/c) P.S. Check out some funny videos on my userpage.

A lot of people use VLC. By the way, I had never heard of .ogg files till recently either — apparently, wikis like to use them best. High fives, Trey56 01:53, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Interesting. Anyway, thanks, and uh, I think .wav format would be a lot less stressing! TheYellowDart(t/c)

Thanks! A ton, man!

Thanks for contributing a ton to my wiki project about adding DVD info (templates) to toons and sbemails that have been released on a DVD. You da-man! TheYellowDart(t/c)

No problem :) Trey56 04:24, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

68.145.103.189 = Addict 2006

Well, I'm here! --Addict 2006 22:50, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey hey — welcome to the wiki! (see here) Trey56 22:57, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

I guess you've been following me around, right? Anyway, I think your challenges are too hard. I'm no fan of all NES games and stuff. I just know Bubble Bobble. I think. --Stuff and stuff, Addict 2006 18:28, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, they are hard, although I would say that this last one was by far the most difficult. If you look through the image history, you'll see that they're not all as difficult: some are easily recognizable to people who have played those games, some have text in the picture that can be searched for on Google, and many can be found through vgmuseum.com. As for following you around, no, not really, but I do pay attention sometimes when I see your name in Recent Changes. High fives, Trey56 19:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Have You Seen This?

Have you looked at this? I thinked it'd be good to have you as a editor of that wiki, seeing as how you're a fellow nintendophile...-LordQuackingstick 01:45, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw that! Looks like it could be helpful wiki — are you a user there? I probably won't join right now — the last thing I need to do is get hooked on another wiki :) But I'm curious, what is that wiki going to encompass? Raw data about the systems and games only, or walkthroughs of games too? I'll be keeping my eye on that one; I've often wondered why there wasn't a Nintendo wiki... Trey56 01:49, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
I have utterly no idea what it will encompass, because there's practically no finished articles and few users, so editing is needed. Also, take a look at the Zelda one. That one's more active. I'm a user on both under the name "Enviroinments." Ha! Get it?-LordQuackingstick 01:53, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, that's clever — something that I'm sure the other Zelda fans will appreciate :) Trey56 01:57, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

Homestar Desktop Buddy

Strong Bad would never approve of this, and neither do I. Please look here for details and post a reply on my talk page. Not here. Or you could post a comment on my blog if you want. --Doesn't care so long as more info is placed not here, Addict 2006 18:19, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

In the middle of a new reply right on my talk page, Addict 2006 16:45, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
You can go to my talk page now but please sign before the blog excerpt. And before the "Blog excerpt" line. --Addict 2006 17:50, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Gameplay Counselor

Do they even have Nintendo Gameplay Counselors anymore?-LordQuackingstick 00:16, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Not that I know of; at least it's not a toll-free service anymore, and if they exist I don't think they're called by the same name. I could still try to grow a mullet, though. Trey56 06:09, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

Nothing else to say. I'd say that went pretty well.

--About to watch Heroes, Addict 2006 04:59, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Yep, looks grood :) Hope you enjoyed Heroes — I've heard it's a good show. Trey56 09:40, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Goodbye

Good bye, old friend. It could be minutes before I am blocked. :,( TheYellowDart(t/c) 04:35, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, with good reason — using a sockpuppet to try to sway STUFF voting is pretty dishonest. You've made some good contributions to the wiki, but you've also made some bad decisions — I hope that these ten days will motivate you to make better choices in the future. Best, Trey56 04:44, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
I totally understand. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 21:02, 18 February 2007 (UTC) You may want to check my apology to Dot Com on his talk... if you haven't yet.
Don't feel bad about it — what's done is done. I'll look forward to seeing more good-faith contributions from you :) Trey56 22:23, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, thank you. Man, when's Dot Com gonna get on? --TheYellowDart(t/c) 22:28, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Help me

Do you know how to put an image in your signature? Can you explain how? Visorbot 386

Yes — what you should do is...
  1. Create a page at User:Visorbot 386/sig and put the text [[Image:wiki.png|20px]][[User:Visorbot 386|Visorbot 386]] there (just replace the sample image name for whatever image you want, and you may have to adjust the image width (the 20px thing) to make sure that the image is no more than 20px high.)
  2. Then, go to Special:Preferences and paste {{User:Visorbot 386/sig}} into the "Signature:" line.
  3. Now, whenever you want to leave a signature with a timestamp, just type four tildes (~~~~). If you want to leave a signature without a timestamp, just type three tildes.
Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any questions! Trey56 17:35, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

It isn't working for some reason.. this comes up: Visorbot 386

It should be fixed now. Let me know if you have any other questions! Trey56 19:38, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Hello???

See User talk:Addict 2006#02.19.07. --Addict 2006 19:06, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Hi! Trey56 19:10, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

The point of the matter... Oh whatever. Look here. --Addict 2006 19:11, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Yep — replied already :) Trey56 19:16, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Thanks

You're right. I guess I let my excitement of it get the best of me.
It's in the right place now. Shaz 05:56, 5 March 2007

No problem — it looks pretty cool by the way; I don't blame you for getting excited :) Trey56 06:01, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Hey!

Did you see my other wikipdia userpage? Lazylaces? Lazylaces Talk

Cool! I have a Wikipedia account too, but I use it pretty infrequently :) Trey56 17:30, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
In case you didn't know, I did the same thing on my HRWiki user page. Of course you do know I am also on Wikipedia. But I go back and forth. Kinda. I used to have a variant of Not the 100th Email!!! on my user page, but then decided to switch to two unattended Lappy 486 screens, and then to a single Lappy screen with Strong Bad's reply. --Addict 2006 15:51, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Sysop

Hi there Trey. It is my distinct pleasure to announce that you have been given sysop privileges and responsibilities. If you have any questions, never hesitate to ask. May you always use your powers for good and for awesome. Thanks. -- Tom 22:21, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Yay! I'm not the newest sysop anymore! =3 --DorianGray 22:23, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Hooray for not having to tag completed STUFF pages for deletion anymore and wait for someone else to do it! Keep doing good stuff for the wiki and do block some vandal for me soon. Heimstern Läufer 22:25, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Combolations to Trey! :D - link_icon.gifThe Joe(Talk) 22:28, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
W00t! You weren't a sysop already? What do you know... ;-) Loafing 22:36, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Wow — this took me off guard! I've loved being a part of this wiki, and I'll do my best to responsibly use the sysop tools to help keep it a great place for everyone. Thanks for the honor of asking me — I know that these duties aren't entrusted lightly. Kicking Cheats 'til the day I die, Trey56 22:38, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Combolatations Elizat Rey! Er. That's all I have to say. :) --Stux 23:08, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Great job getting the sysop position, Trey! We'll all be rooting for you! -Brightstar Shiner 23:12, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Just in case you were wondering, your baby has to earn it's own sysop privileges. No inheriting alowed. Many congrats to you, Trey! — Lapper (talk) 23:19, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
Thanks guys :) And Lapper, you better watch out: my son has sharp teeth! Trey56 23:25, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Man, man. I thought you were already an admin by the time I first got here as a member. You should start putting these welcome messages on free-per-join! (Nothing else to say...) --Addict 2006 01:20, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

I'm running out of congratulatory H*R references. Oh well. Ah, well, happy Sysopday, Ilko. --Jay v.2024 (Auld lang syne) 01:22, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Congratulations Trey! Now the wiki is in the arms of a truly worthy adversary. Sometimes... you are so awesome... it hurts. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 06:42, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Whoa, I'm late, but I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN!! I KNEW YOU HAD WHAT IT TAKES!! Great joregghhrb! I didn't know this until now. I will bow to you. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 02:38, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Oh, no need to bow, Dart. Rise, my son. And giveth me instead, $7.50 with which to buy some buffalo chicken tenders. Trey56 02:42, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
  • stands up*. Okay. I'm up. Do you like those shiny new sysop buttons? --TheYellowDart(t/c) 02:44, 14 March 2007 (UTC) Did you just call me a professor? Right on, Trey!
No way!!! You weren't a sysop before?!?!?! (I see I'm not the only one amazed by this!) Sorry I'm fangoriously late with this "Combolations"!! Now, go take a skillet-nap for all the hard work you've been doing! kai lyn 16:49, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Hey there good buddy, congrats! It was long overdue. You have been a quality wiki user for a long time and carried yourself as a sysop from the beginning. Keep defending ye new wiki from SPLODING. I R F 03:41, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Gahh! When did this happen?! Man, this is what happens when I only visit the forum. Anyways, discombobulations! This ends the story. Challenge again!-LordQuackingstick 19:00, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you

You have an awesome welcome. You made me fell very welcome thank you. (User:Panamon Creel)

No problem — and welcome again! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Trey56 00:39, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

Deleted, true but....

Hey Trey, maybe not the best place to put this but for lack of a better place.

When things are deleted, as are off color pages from time to time or even just maybe regular maintanence. How you do decide that?

How does one decide? (I've come to play on IRC off and on, but for the rest of us, how do you decide?) Nothing accusatory, really. Just, a ?. (User:Bryanc)

Are you asking about a specific item in particular? Most deletion decisions fall into one of the following categories; I've listed the conditions required for deletion next to each one.
  • Normal article created in the mainspace — put the {{tbd}} template up and delete if consensus to do so is achieved.
  • Article intended for or resulting from blatant vandalism — immediately delete.
  • Articles/images/etc. whose creator/uploader requests deletion — immediately delete.
  • STUFF pages — wait seven days after the last item has been closed, then archive items and delete template. (see here)
Also, note that all deleted pages can be retreived, and poor deletion decisions are subject to reversal by other sysops.
Does this sufficiently answer your question? Later, Trey56 06:04, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
That is valuable information, thank you. I actually don't remember why I was all fussed about anything to begin with. Someone ought to install a breathalizer on my computer. BryanCTC 20:26, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
